| Lots of flooding in Austin too. We are safe and dry, but my daughter's school is flooded and a colleague has 3 inches of water in her house. It was pretty tense yesterday. I think our rain has almost stopped, WHEW, I'm glad!

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | It was crazy yesterday! AND I had to walk dogs in it. LOL We are safe, my brothers back yard looked like lakefront property! His property backs up to a park which is much lower. Some of his 5 foot trees were completely sumbmerged in the front yard. Check it out. |

| Glad the worst is over for the Texans and those in Oklahoma. Seems lately were are getting 100 year storms every year now. Dry off, clean up, and be safe. |

I echo everyone's thoughts and prayers. I used to live in the Midwest and I know what a mess these floods are. We just had a little thunder and lightning the other night and my kids were barking up their own storm. They thought someone was trying to break in! Great watch dogs!!!

| Same here for thunder and lightning. Maxine Barks and that gets Carlo all riled up, and he runs all over the house looking for something, anything.....nothing like a nice quiet evening. |

| We were supposed to get tons more, but we only got 2.4 inches. We really couldn't take anymore without floating away, because we've already had 7.9 inches before this rain in the last week. It's been misting since the remnants of Hermine moved over into Missouri. I felt so bad seeing so much terrible flooding.

| We live close by Lake Travis in Austin, but luckily we overlook a canyon, so there was plenty of room for all the rain to flow. Luckily neither of us had to work, so we had a really rainy day at the house with the pups.
