| Her friend has the same Sweet 16 dress!!! Ok so a couple of weeks ago I told you guys about my daughters Sweet 16. She is having a pink limousine take her and her friends to NYC to go to the Hard Rock Cafe and to the Wax Museum. I showed you her dress, (which is gorgeous) Anyway I drop her off at a friends Sweet 16 last night and she calls me crying. The girl made her grand entrance and she is wearing the exact dress we ordered for my daughter. She is now very upset and crying. Since it was a secret as to what her friends dress looked like and a secret what my daughter's dress looks like they couldn't have copied each other ...she was in complete shock. I already paid fot the dress as it was special ordered. I'm just upset now and I tell her not to worry it's ok. Out of all the dresses we looked at this one she just fell in love with and it looks terrific on her, I cried when I saw her try it on. Great. !!! I also havent told her yet that the school calender came out and I was having her party on Monday night 11/1 because tuesday 11/2 is election day and there usually is no school that day. Well guess what????? THEY HAVE SCHOOL THAT DAY!!!! The girls were going to get home around 1am ish and sleep here then have a nice bagel breakfast in the morning. Now that's out. I will have to change it to Friday 11/5. That's if the limo is available that day. Her birthday is the 3rd so it's not too bad but she is going to freak I know it!!!

| Sorry...the events that offer the most challenges usually bring us the greatest joy in the end. I hope that she has a wonderful Sweet Sixteen!

| Well now I'm a little upset. My daughter just told me that the girl who's party was last night's birthday is not until December 2nd. WTF Who has a sweet 16 now??? Anyway I took my daughter to the store that we ordered her dress from and we looked at her dress again and the other girls dress was similar, not exactly the same. She feels better now that we saw her dress again. You know when your 16 everything is a tragedy!!!

| OOHHhhh!!! Well I am glad to hear that she feels better and the dresses are not identical. How does she feel about 11/5 instead of 11/1? Its only 4 days difference so I hope that works out without too much drama for you, MOM! You are such a cool mom to do this all for your daughter!

| Ok now she decided she doesn't want to do the limo thing anymore. She just didn't want to sit in the limo get out to eat get back in and so on. She wants to dance. Unfortunatly there are no clubs for teens, you have tp be 21. She wants us to be together. She decided she wants to have a party now!!! I am going nuts trying to book everything as we only have 9 weeks now. We booked a hall on Sunday, so she has that. She has the dress on order. I have to get a dj and invitations now. She wants to make an entrance by way of magic, so now I have magicians calling me with prices. She just wants him to make her appear in one of his tricks. She just doesn't want to have her name announced and walk in. She wants her Sweet 16 to be a bit different that all the others she has been to this year. She wants to keep that part a secret and not tell anyone about the magician. They would stay for about an hour or so doing some tricks while we are eating. Then it's right back to dancing and partying. So I told her it would be better to do it on that Friday so everyone could come and not worry about work or school the next day. She is very happy now, and excited. I had a big party for my older daughter, now 19 so this is her turn. I have to admit I am much happier that she changed her mind about the limo. Only the handful of friends would see her then. Now everyone will see her and get to celebrate with her. And I like parties!!! For the money the limo was costing me at least we could enjoy a nice night out. I will keep you guys posted!!

| That sounds like so much fun! I hope it's not too stressful for you to arrange all the changes. It kinda makes me glad I turned down my quinceanera. I hope you, your family, and especially your little princess have a blast on her big day.
