| If you are going to get one save your money and get a good quality metal or wood one. The cheaper ones bend up when the wind gets strong and fall apart. I have one in my backyard that is wood with a fabric top that I have had for 7 rs. They are nice to have just dont go cheap it will last longer. You will also need to stake it into the ground to keep it from bending

| My husband and I are still looking for a gazebo for our deck, similar to the one in your picture. Our problem is the size of our upper deck...it's 9x11 and most gazebos are 10x10. A wooden one would be too heavy for our deck. Most of the steel ones that are good quality last for about three or four years. If you remove the top during off season, or severe windy conditions, it should be fine. Did you read the reviews? That should help with your decision. Good luck!!

| This is my husband's "recent" idea....sometimes his ideas pain me lol He wants to put it on the deck. I dont think he's even thinking if it gets windy...that he has to take it down and then put it back up This may be another one of those "I told you so's" LOL

| I never take mine down not even in the winter. Just get a sturdy one and ours had a bracket on the bottom of it to screw in the deck which yowl need to do and yowl be fine. Mine is not heavy wood either by the way but it is teak wood and metal

| We put one on our patio two years ago and it's already completely destroyed. The metal rusted horribly and the rust got all over our patio and we can't scrub it out. Then where the top velcro's to the bar, split and became large holes each time it got windy. It was the worst investment we have ever made.
