| Out of the blue one day about 14 yrs. ago I decided I was sick of buying and smoking cigarettes and just quit. I'm not saying it was easy, but every day it gets easier and you crave them less. It is so worth it, good luck! |

| I quit over 3 years ago, I smoked for over 20 years! I was on the patch for 3 weeks, but developed a rash from it. I think once you really what to quit you can. I had tried previous times before, but failed because I wasn't quite ready in my head to let go of the habit. Good luck to you

| I quit 6 months ago. I quit cold turkey. I still find that sometimes I have the urge to smoke one. But I think about it, six months, six months! I'm doing so well, after six months I don't want to ruin it for myself and start again. I feel better, I can breathe, I can smell, I can taste. I don't smell. It's all good and all worth it. There were four other people I knew who quit as well, three around the same time as me and one before. My sister, cousin, and two aunts. All four of them started again. I'm still going strong, I'm proud of myself. I think I'm going to have to buy myself something nice and celebrate being 6 months smoke free. |

| Even though once in awhile I'll have the urge to have one, it passes quick. Hang in there, you can do it. |

| Congrats!! Hang in there!! I've "tried" more times than I want to admit - I even tried the Chantix, quit for a while and then went right back. Stress always sends me running back to nicotine. Doc wanted to know how I would handle stress w/o my cigarettes. I answered his question to which he restated his question with - what will you do to relieve the stress - that does NOT involve violence???? Didn't have an answer to that one. Best of luck to you!! You CAN DO IT!!!

| You can do it.....I have been without them for about ten years. I used the Wellbutrin pill(my insurance paid for it) and would highly recommend this treatment. It took the edge off enough that I was still pleasant to be around. I teach high school special needs....kind of a stressful job..so you can do it. Good Luck ,you are off to great start.
