Donating YT 11K Club Member | Little Mini Rant/Happy Mother's Day Today blows. I'm in such a sad, depressed mood. First off it's chilly here, like 48 degrees, which means it's also chilly in my apt. I'm here wrapped up in my blankie with the dogs 'cause I get cold easily...and now I feel sick. It's mother's day but my mom is in Puerto Rico this week If she was here I would have taken her out. I did call and she's having a great time at the beach which is good, I'm glad she's enjoying herself. Sure wish I was there. Then earlier I was going through some dog sweaters to put on the little ones and found one of Sophie's pjs that says 'Sophia' on it and I started bawling(it still smells like her). So to cheer myself up there is this screening I wanted to go to for 'Letters to Juliet' today and my bf doesn't want to go bc it's a 'chick flick'. He's being a complete jerk about it, and just being really lazy. If it were an action flick he'd be there right away. I've been wanting to see it forever..even if he doesn't want to see it i feel like if he cared he would just go see it with me. I mean it's free and I would do the same for him....This all just really ruined my day. I just feel so down. Anyway I know nobody cares..I'm really sorry I just needed to get it out. I have everything bottled up inside. I do hope though that everyone's having a good mother's day. To all the mothers-God bless you. I don't have kids but I guess I can call myself a mommy, after all I have 4 little furballs running around. They are all that's keeping me smiling today. Happy Mother's day

| We are all entitled to 'off days'!! Ive been working 24/7 on rebuilding 2 bathrooms from scratch! Yesterday we put in a 14 hour day and got the toilet, sink and electricity working in 1 of them, very exciting! My poor babies were gated into the living room almost all day and then when they were out I had to keep yelling at them to get out of the trash or out of the bathroom, it was for their safety of course, but I felt so bad! We finished at midnight and crashed but after some talking it was around 1230. So 6am this morning our contractor was back for 5 more hours of tiling the bath in the master bath. We stopped to go to my BFs familys lunch at noon and got back to tiling AGAIN when we got home at 4ish. I cannot wait until these baths are done. Its been 3 weeks of work, work, work and cleaning, cleaning, cleaning and the house is still a mess! aaahhh gotta love home remodeling. Girl my mom lives 2500 miles away everyday... so I understand missing your mom on mother's day. Hang in there, have a PJ day, enjoy your pets and just catch up on trashy gossip. Its freezing here too.... so no walks today for me or my boys either! (not to mention I'm just flat out exhausted!)

Last night we hooked up the fixtures for the shower so we could get that up and running. we put the handle on only to figure out the plumber left the pipe too long and now we have to cut the sheet rock from behind it and cut the pipe and the solder it back together... gggrrrr total setback. But EVEN WORSE than that, we put the handle on anyways bc it IS usable just looks awful and wrong and we figured out the plumber hooked up the cold water to the cold water pipe and the hot water to the cold water pipe so no hot water in the shower!!! So all that to find 2 huge mistakes and still no shower working!!! I'm beginning to HATE this project!
