| 1. 'American Wife' by Curtis Sittenfeld 2. 'The Luxe' by Anna Godbersen. It's the first in the fun gossipy Luxe series consisting of four books 3. Any book by Margaret George if you like thick meaty historical fiction (good enough to eat!)

| I am a huge fan of Home - Janet Evanovich I have read every single book she's written. They are fast paced fun reads. It's about a woman who has no clue how to be a bounty hunter but needs the job to pay rent. Some of the best laughs I've had reading. She has a few books on fun love stories that I have also read. But I love her Plum series. They are books your gonna wanna pass on to friends. You can find the first chapter of most of her books on her website to see if it's your cup of tea or not. | The Sookie Stackhouse books by Charline Harris are great vampire books based in Louisiana. Sookie is a waitress at a bar who can read minds and it's all about her dealing with the vampires, werewolves, and other creatures. They one of my favorite series of books to read. She has written 9 books in the series so far but a new one comes out on the 4. She has a few other series of books out but the Sookie books are the best. |

| Oh! Another good couple a books are the Odd Thomas books by Dean Koontz. About Odd Thomas who sees ghosts and the ghosts don't talk to him but he has to figure out how to help them. In the first two or three books Elvis's ghost follows him around. |

| There's a thread on here somewhere about "The Hunger Games" and it's sequel. They are both GREAT. I just started a book called "The Owl Killers" and that's very interesting. My favorite book of all time is "The Kite Runner" - it just broke my heart! Some other good books are "Water For Elephants", "Memoirs of a Geisha", "Milkweed". Oh my gosh, I could go on forever. All I do is read! I second the "Luxe" books. They are all very good.

And the new/last book in the series will be out this summer! Oh yeah, and the new Twilight saga book will be out on Jun 6th. I just read the Midnighters and Uglies series by Scott Westerfield. They were both very good.

Was Water for Elephants hard to read? I have heard so many people rave about it, but I'm not sure I could take a book about the mistreatment of elephants in circuses. I heard the movie rights to the book have been sold.

| No it's not hard. I too was afraid it would have a bad ending but it's very good book.

| As you like twilight I would think you would like The House of Night books by P.C. Cast. Their are now 5 or 6 out and they are about vampires. A vampire school.

I was watching an HBO documentary the other day and it showed an elephant being electrocuted by Edison. Now that was heartbreaking!! I had to turn my eyes away.
