Thor's Human Donating Member | D'oh! Overdid it on eBay I really should know better, but I got really exited about a handbag designer last night and went on eBay to check out deals... you know what's coming next, right? I put a few bids down. Bids that were ridiculously low, that would make great steals if I actually won one of them. Now I have won one, which I am very happy with... but it looks like I'm about to win TWO more! Mind you, these will still be great deals relative to the price, but still a lot more than I intended to spend in total. Keep your fingers crossed for me. One of the auctions is ending in 40 minutes, and there has been only one bid (I was the second).

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Damn that ebay! If you end up winning both, you could always put one up for sale here! What designer? Do you have a pic?

Donating YT 500 Club Member | This has happened to me several times. Or, a seller will offer 10 of the same item on separate auctions, and it's been something I've really wanted. I don't want to lose out or pay more than another auction winner, so I wonder if I should bid on more than one auction and risk having to buy both, if I win. You might just be okay though....I usually wait til the last few seconds to bid and I know others do the same.

Thor's Human Donating Member | I hope so. I don't use eBay frequently, so I'm a pretty unsophisticated bidder. eBay heavyweights have told me that all the real bidding happens in the final few minutes. I just hope the other buyers are smarter than I was. The designer is Isabella Fiore! I love, love, love her stuff - or I guess it's not a she, it's a him/her team. Since yesterday. 12 minutes. Aie!

Thor's Human Donating Member | Well, I won purse #2. Sigh. It does look like they take returns for any reason, so I guess it's not the end of the world.

Thor's Human Donating Member | Okay, here's the first one I won that I really wanted. It's part of the current line, and I think I got a really good deal, certainly a lot less than I would have paid a department store: FioreHobo.png The second one is a refurb. I got it 80% off. It says the strap drop is 12" but I realized after I won it that the strap in the picture looks much shorter than that. Most of my bags are totes that fit right under my arm, but they are kind of a pain when I'm walking Thor around all the time. I want something that I can sling over my shoulder, that will hold a lot of stuff, and I can put down in the park without having palpitations. I also want one for work and one for home so I'm not carrying a million dog supplies back and forth (I already carry my laptop and Thor). They take returns, so I asked the seller about the strap... no point in them sending it to me if I already know I'm going to send it back. FioreDoh.jpg The third one still has almost a day to close. This one I think someone will probably outbid me, because my bid is 25% of the "Buy it Now" price... but I wouldn't mind winning it. I guess it's mainly the second one that's giving me angst. Here's the third one I may own soon. It's a bad picture, but I've talked to the seller about condition, etc: FioreEh.jpg

Thor's Human Donating Member | And here is another purse of hers that is not "slingy" enough for what I'm looking for, and is mad expensive... but it's GORGEOUS. It comes in orange and indigo too. This one I'm not buying, I just love it. FioreSlaver.png

| Ebay is a wallet killer - I really like the bags though. Hopefully the will let you return or not send the second one. Good luck
