| Anyone with stainless steel appliances? My bf is renovating and he is going with stainless steel appliances for the kitchen, We have decided to get the Frigidare Gallery series because it has the finger print resistant stainless. Anyone have Frigidaire or stainless steel? I've heard a lot of negatives on it for keeping it clean, but I figured the print resistant one is much better. It's so darn expensive, I'm just hoping it is the right thing for us.

| I have the print resistant and I LOVE it! It's easy to keep clean looking and I love the way it looks. Here's a picture of my kitchen (you can't see it but the diswasher matches the rest of the appliances): New house 012.jpg

| We have stainless..I have the GE. profile series..and LG. dishwasher. We went with the shiny stainless..In my opinion it looks nicer than the smudge free. The smudge free is sort of dull and takes away from the look of stainless. We do have a little more up keep. Well, alot..but it is easy and it looks so gorgeous! We like the modern look too! Good luck and either way you go you should be happy |

| No, these are GE. I think it's called the profile series but I'm not certain.

| They are expensive and we looked for a long time too! I wanted the solid stainless with no black handles..which are hard to find. Any stainless you go with will be pretty..but stay away from the stainless look. Those are cheap and have issues with rust. You are spending alot so you might as well get the best!! |

| I have GE Profile, all but the fridge (next year when we do the kitchen over) ... so far so good, I highly recommend though, NOT getting a dishwasher with a stainless steel interior, just exterior. For some reason everyone I know who has one does not use it because they said it has a really bad odor all the time, almost emitting from it. I have a stainless steel dishwasher but it has a white plastic interior.

| I have stainless steel interior in my dishwasher..no odor though. One person told me you have to use a real small amount of dishwashing liquid, like a tablespoon or little less and always make sure you have rinse aid. The odor is from mildew build up. I also rinse my dishes really well before loading them to prevent odors too! I also have a front loading washer with a stainless drum and I do get odor from that..You have to leave the door open to air it out.. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | We just redid our kitchen and put in SS appliances. We went with Whirlpool. The SS is hard to keep clean. I am always finding fingerprints. Looks nice though.
