| Nothing is better than Weight Watchers. Their website is: www.weightwatchers.com No I am not affiliated with them in any way, I just know they have the healthiest "diet" plan out there, sensible, well balanced, and with a lifestyle approach. Please, really try to lose weight the old fashioned way, the gastric bypasses have serious complication rates, and believe me, the restrictions on diet after the procedure are much greater than following a healthy diet on WW. IF you ever saw some of the complications after a gastric bypass, or watched people suffer and die, you would think twice about the procedure! And yes, their are successes, but the risks are definitely there. Good for you for trying the dieting approach! |

| I have watched for many years my family lose a lot of weight on Weight Watchers. My mother lost 150 pounds and my aunt lost 100! My mom joined in the 80's and although they have changed she is still uses their program and loves it. I have also heard really good things about ediet.com that Elizabeth mentioned earlier! Good Luck to you, I know how difficult this process is! |

| Hi, I have a bit of experience in that department. I’m certified through the NSCA as a personal trainer and have experienced my own struggles with weight and weight loss. Have you looked into calorieking.com? It would be a good addition to your calorie cutting and exercise regimen. I’ve been a member for two years, although lately I spend most of my Internet time here on YT. It’s a friendly, supportive community and it encourages healthy weight loss. I hope this helped. If you need any more specific advice, I’d like to help. Just let me know.

| This is a great Site The site is www.wishcenter.org they can help you with weight loss if you're not interested in surgery and you can even chat with the surgens on weight loss. They also have other alterntives. Try it. I have an appointment at the Ohio center on the 25th. It will work out for you. Gizmo&Trinket's mom

| I lost 60 lbs on South Beach -- it is very easy and the menus are easily modified to be simple or vegetarian. This website has lots of info for free, it is not the official site South Beach Diet Plan. The most important thing to remember is to not think of it as a "diet." It will be your new way of eating. For the results to stay one must change their eating habits forever. This is why I like South Beach, it is very easy to move between the three phases. Good Luck Last edited by vixen767; 12-18-2007 at 05:05 PM. |

| I LOVE WEIGHT WATCHERS! It's totally real-life applicable and I have lost about 45 pounds since February. I know I could have lost more if I actually excersized in addition to changing my eating habits but my life is so crazy right now I just don't have the time to work out. In any case, I highly recommend it and I talk it up all the time!
