| Bragging a little about my kids! I know I've posted a couple of times about some of the bad luck things that I've had happen this year, so I thought I'd share some of the great things going on in my family's lives. My 18 year old daughter is a senior in High School this year. She is currently ranked #3 out of a class of 112 seniors and will be graduating with a 4.0 GPA. She has been accepted at Ole Miss as a pre-pharmacy major. She was senior maid on the homecoming court, and was just elected as Ms. THS (voted on by teachers based on academic achievement, personality, and overall representation of the school). Then last night we got a call telling us that she was chosen for a Supersibs Scholarship. Supersibs is an organization for siblings of childhood cancer patients. They chose 15 students out of 230 that applied from the entire US, to recieve scholarships. We were so thrilled with that announcement!! That win was special in so many ways after my son battled cancer almost 4 years ago. Then my 16 year old son, recently was told that he will be recieving his wish from the Make A Wish foundation this summer. He asked to go the Hawaii to go deep sea fishing, which is a dream of his. He loves fishing and can't wait to experience fishing offshore. The Make A Wish foundation is an amazing organization of some of the most caring people that I have ever met. We plan to work on fundraisers to help grant another child's wish once we return from my son's trip. Then my 14 year old daughter recently tried out and made the High School cheerleading team. She has an amazing, outgoing personality and is thrilled to be a cheerleader. I might also add that she currently maintains straight A's in all of her classes. No matter what bad things seem to happen, I am so blessed in so many ways. My family is healthy and it seems like I've done a pretty good job with my kids lately, lol. Spring is here and life is great. I hope all YT'ers are having a great Spring so far, also! |

| You really can be proud of all of your children. You must be a terrific role model. I am a big supporter of the make-a-wish-foundation, and I agree, they do an excellent job. |
