| barking at reflections! does anyone else have this problem? my dog barks at reflections! when i stand up from the computer she sees my reflection in the secretary glass and starts barking! she also does it in the kitchen if the door is open and she sees my reflection in the screen door glass. she was barking earlier because my kids were standing in front of the TV which was turned off and she saw their reflections! it's usually just funny, but at night after my husband is in bed....it's not funny! i don't want her waking him up because he has to wake up super early, but she just can't seem to figure out that there is NOBODY out to get us!! i'm sure there's no real solution - just wondering if anyone else's dog does this?! |

| Yes!!! My puppy is 14 weeks old. Yesterday he was barking and growling at shadows in the house. We had just come in from the backyard and he started that. He was facing the stairway going upstairs...when I turned to see what he was growling at, I got the chills. I had to think if anyone could have gotten in while we were outside. I started moving and looking and realized that we were making the shadows. Scared me good. One of the first days I had him he started barking and growling at the fireplace. It was so cute as I had never heard him bark. We figured out that he was seeing the reflections in the glass in front of the fireplace. Good watch dog!! Watch out robbers, my "big" dog might take off a finger! We discover something new everyday it seems!!
