| I can't look that old!! A friend sent this to me today...too funny. HAVE YOU EVER BEEN GUILTY OF LOOKING AT OTHERS YOUR OWN AGE AND THINKING, SURELY I CAN'T LOOK THAT OLD? WELL . . . YOU'LL LOVE THIS ONE. MY NAME IS ALICE , AND I WAS SITTING IN THE WAITING ROOM FOR MY FIRST APPOINTMENT WITH A NEW DENTIST. I NOTICED HIS DDS DIPLOMA ON THE WALL, WHICH BORE HIS FULL NAME. SUDDENLY, I REMEMBERED A TALL, HANDSOME, DARK-HAIRED BOY WITH THE SAME NAME HAD BEEN IN MY HIGH SCHOOL CLASS SOME 30-ODD YEARS AGO. COULD HE BE THE SAME GUY THAT I HAD A SECRET CRUSH ON, WAY BACK THEN? UPON SEEING HIM, HOWEVER, I QUICKLY DISCARDED ANY SUCH THOUGHT. THIS BALDING, GRAY-HAIRED MAN WITH THE DEEPLY LINED FACE WAS WAY TOO OLD TO HAVE BEEN MY CLASSMATE. AFTER HE EXAMINED MY TEETH, I ASKED HIM IF HE HAD ATTENDED MORGAN PARK HIGH SCHOOL . 'YES. YES, I DID. I'M A MUSTANG,' HE GLEAMED WITH PRIDE. WHEN DID YOU GRADUATE?' I ASKED. HE ANSWERED, 'IN 1975. WHY DO YOU ASK?' YOU WERE IN MY CLASS!', I EXCLAIMED. HE LOOKED AT ME CLOSELY. THEN, THAT UGLY, OLD, BALD, WRINKLED FACED, FAT-A**ED, GRAY-HAIRED, DECREPIT SON-OF-A-BEEP ASKED, 'WHAT DID YOU TEACH???'

| Reality check at it's meanest. Once at the grocery store, one of the people from the produce department saw me and asked if my husband was with me today. "Husband? I'm sorry I'm not married." His response, "Oh, then who is the gentlemen that comes with you every week?" I exclaimed, "That's MY DAD!" I gave him a dirty look and promptly left. Then I thought, "how old does he think I am?" My dad is 53, and I'm 24. Let's just say I didn't feel very flattered that day.

| Maybe I'm a couger.............I frequently visit a great wine store in town....not because they have an amazingly young handsome crew but for the wine selection. It was a few days before my 40th and the new kid asked me for my ID.........so thrilled...yippie...I told him it was in the car. One of the other regulars shouted over..."dude....she's cool....she can be your Demi Moore" I left feeling

YT Addict | All of this stuff is soooo funny!!! omg I turn 30 in a month and a half, and I'm starting to get these "jokes". Except that I look too young... my husband has salt and pepper hair, and sometimes they ask him he's MY dad. I try to flash my tiny engagement/wedding ring. lol

| Hahaha! Funny. I'm almost 20 and now when I go out to eat with my dad, people sometimes think we're together... ha. We've gotten some funny looks sometimes and you can tell people are trying to figure out the relationship. My dad looks pretty young still (he's 46) and he acts young too, so I think it's what confuses people!

| A couple of years ago I went with my dad to see my bro when he graduated from basic training. I am 9 yrs older than my brother. One of his commanding officers told my brother it was nice his dad and mom could be there. HMMM! On facebook a lot of my graduating class are my friends. I pulled my dtr over and asked if I looked as old as some of them did. Bless her heart, (I raised her right), she said of course not. Of course some look like they haven't aged much. Go class of 1982!

| I'm 20 and my mom just turned 39 last month. Frequently people ask us if were sisters. I've even had people tell me I look older than her but at least I have good genes. |

Another time when I was in HS (I was 16), my dad was teaching me how to drive. He got me a 67 mustang (automatic thank goodness). I saw a classmate at a stoplight and said hi to her. The next day she asked me "who was that guy you were with yesterday?" I said, that was my dad! My dad is 37 yrs older than me! LOL he does look young though, his gf is about 20 yrs younger than him!

| No I crashed it a year later, like all teenagers do. At least he didn't pay that much for it. It was a fixer upper, and I learned a lot about cars from it. Boy, do I NOT miss a v8 and 8 mpg!!! My dad still tries to spoil me, but I won't accept.
