| We're going to San Diego! My older brother is being sent to San Diego for work for the whole week. He asked me and Kaji to tag along to keep him company. His work is paying for his room and an allowance for meals so he said the whole trip will be on company dime! He's gone on trips before and never used up the company allowance, in fact he says he was far from spending it all, or half even. I'll have time to myself in the mornings and I'm wondering what cool things Kaji and I can go do while we're there. Any suggestions?

| To be exact, we will be in Del Mar for the week. Anyone know anything fun around there?

| I haven't been to Del Mar, but I always vacation every year in downtown San Diego (hubby and I got for a convention). We stay in the gaslamp district, and it's absolutely beautiful! So many amazing old buildings, tons of restaurants, clubs... and you can even catch a baseball game as the Padre's stadium is right there as well. San Diego is a fantastic place to vacation!

| There are great shops and restaurants in downtown Del Mar. There is a cute dog bakery "Three Dog Bakery" (Three Dog Bakery All Natural Food for Dogs) too. Its in the Del Mar Plaza shopping center. The beach area just down the street from that shopping plaza is fantastic and there is a dog beach in Del Mar as well. Its beautiful! You will have a great time, and I think the weather next week is supposed to be fabulous!! |
