Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Don't know if I did the right thing... I'm very sad and upset. I was driving to work and a doggie was in the middle of traffic. I picked her(?) up and put her in my car. I feed her my lunch and gave her water. Such a good girl!!! Sat down, so friendly, and curious. She was so dirty and stinky! But a definite diamond in the rough. A poddle mix with the most soulful brown eyes. And as sweet as can be!! She had a collar but no tag. And obviously been on her own for a long time. I got to work and my coworker said the best thing to do is to take her to the humane society were she knows they won't put her down if not adopted. So all three of us got in my car and went. She walked in the place as happy as can be, saying hi to everyone. The girls there were so nice to her I felt I left her in good hands. But I feel awful. I wanted nothing more to take her home and give her a great home. I know I can't. But that doesn't make it any better. She's bigger than the allowed size in my building I got her ID number and will keep tabs on her, praying she finds a good home. I am also going to get her pic of the website when it's up and put posters around where I found her. I just wish...

| I think that was a wonderful thing you done. I am sure it was hard but at least you put her in good hands and got her off the streets. Hopefully she has a family that has been looking for her and they will find her there. If not I am sure she will find a wonderful forever loving home. |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Dont worry! Animal shelters usually do not put them to sleep and keep their word on finding them a home. You did a wonderful deed!!!!

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Thank you guys. Still bummed but instead of just sitting sad, I'm going to do something about it!! Spread the word about this cutie being up for adoption! Just remember, she needs a good bath and grooming. And the pic doesn't do her justice!!! She's REALLY cute, and even betteer, has a great and calm personality! If you know anybody who needs a sister for their yorkie, let them know! I am willing to pay for the adoption fee! Here's the info: This DOG - ID#A264587 cream and white Poodle - Miniature and Portuguese Water Dog. My age is unknown old. At the shelter since Jan 25, 2010. This information is 1 hour old. And here's the link! PetHarbor.com: Animal Shelter adopt a pet; dogs, cats, puppies, kittens! Humane Society, SPCA. Lost & Found.

| That link you gave shows a Poodle-Portuguese Water Hound...and it says it's a "MALE"...did you check to see if it was a boy or a girl? Oh...and you most certainly did the most wonderful thing you could for him (her?), too!

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Why? Why? Why do people just discard their pets? Why do they just let them go to roam the streets? Why do they tie them up and just leave them in their yards in the cold and rain? I feel like I'm going to explode... What can I do to change this?
