| OMG whats wrong with me? Hubby is out of town and I'm having to work, take care of the dogs & kids, pay the bills, clean, cook, etc. I normally break out the cookbooks & cook big meals for dinner, but decided since I am having a busy week that I'd cook the easy stuff so sloppy joes we're having tonight. I had to read the directions three times because something this simple just couldnt SINK in. Brown 1 pound of hamb meat, add a can of manwich & and serve on buns! What is wrong with me that I'd have to read that 3 times??? I must be losing it. |

| Sloppy Joes... You know I had those for the first time about 2 months ago. A friend brought some extra for lunch and a few extra buns. I gobbled up two and kept going on and on about how good they were. I just couldn't wait to get home and make them for hubby. I called her later that evening while at the store to see what I needed to buy to fix them. We still joke about the "lavish meal" of sloppy joes. I hate times like you mentioned. The simpliest things I've done hundreds of times throw me for a loop like its the first time. Maybe we need to increase our Ginko I'd probably forget it too. haha |

My boys love sloppy joes, but hubby usually cooks the simple stuff. He butters up the buns and toasts them....wish he was here.

I heard somewhere the other day: "I take Ginko, but I can't remember what for." could be my quote most days.

| I've done that before, had to read the same thing over and over because I read it fine, it's just that I was thinking about something else, and paying more attention to my head than my eyes lol! There's nothing wrong with you! Put those kids to bed and pour yourself a big glass of wine and get into a hot tub! There's nothing better (well, maybe if your husband was home, but this will do for now!)!

| Aww no worries, you just are used to things being more complicated with your cookbooks. And there's something to be said about being tired. No worries, it happens to everyone. Last night I made a really nice meal of homemade veggie lasagna for my fiance and I and then he looked disappointed when he got home from work and I asked why. He said, "don't you remember our phone conversation...I told you I just wanted to get pizza delivery." Of course, he still liked the lasagna...but... Obviously I was a little preoccupied to miss that detail. |
