| Paranormal activity.... I've had the movie a little while but never watched it till tonight. Now I'm sitting here wide awake , and I must say , a little freaked out I love , love , love horror movies so I thought it would be kinda cool .... well, they did a good job at making me feel a bit freaked out , which really isn't an easy job So I guess I will sit up and watch king of queens reruns and read YT till I can face walking my long dark hallway to my room ....yep , just looked down the hallway.....not ready to go there yet

| LOL, my kids talked me in to watching that. It was believeable until the very last scene. Then, my daughter told me there are two or three different endings. I only watched one and it was disturbing enough I didn't care to watch the other.

| OMG, I love horror/ scarey movies but I have to say , I really thought this was the most rediculas stupid movie I have ever seen... I still dont understand what was scarey about it???? Its not a true story, you never see a ghost, It seemed like hours and hours of two stupid people who had a ghost or demon in thier house , they never turned on a light, they never left the house, it climbed in bed with her, dragged her down the stairs ( we are to assume this because they dont show it) , then the end was just totally rediculas... I thought this was just the dumbest movie I ever saw!! I have seen scarier shows on "t The Haunting"

| I love the shows on the animal planet too, I watch that and the haunting and any other show with ghosts , haunting ect.. I like getting creeped out too.. while watching parinormal activity I was dying laughing.. the budget for the film was $15,000 I think it was $14,000 to rent the house they used $940.00 to by a video camera and 60 bucks in tapes and a tripod.. I am so glad I got it out of the redbox and paid a dollar, but honestly that was 1 dollar to much... I just didnt find one thing scarey... it was foolish and a waste of time... I kept saying through the whole movie okay its going to get better, its going to pick up now.. I should have known my 13 year old daughter saw it and came home mad and said it was stupid and I asked her if she was scared , she told me then , there wasnt anything in it that was scary....

| I agree that it wasn't a good movie in the sense that it was a well made movie (like Hollywood style) but I liked the way it was done. It was from a different view than most movies , which I kind of liked. While most of the movie wasn't that scary , the ending ... well , it freaked me out. I guess just thinking about demonic possesion was enough to set me on edge for the night Ghost , not so scary to me , Demonic possession on the other hand freaked me out I have heard both good and bad reviews of it , but I think it was OK for the budget and what they did , better than The Blair Witch project atleast.

| Lol I was exactly the same way. I'm not a horror movie fan because I don't feel like ANYONE does a good job at making them anymore (not like the good ol' days with Psycho, thanks Mr. Hitchcock!). Nothing seems to scare me anymore... until Paranormal Activity. I haven't had my skin crawl like that in I don't know how long! And to make things worse, when my husband and I went up to bed, he kept telling me not to scream so loud as to wake him up when I get yanked out of bed and dragged down the hall (we have the same exact hallway upstairs as they do in the movie... and of course my side is right next to the door in our bedroom, same as the dumb movie!). He's such a jerk!

That is exactly why I thought a dog or cat would have made a huge difference in this movie and much more beliveable. It would have been like-maybe the humans were unsure, but you can't tell a dog/cat what to think. Does anyone ever watch Lost Tapes? I love those shows!!!!
