| Cancer The drs. think my husband has bone cancer and that he may have it somewhere else to. We are going for a boipsy Thursday and won't get the results until 12/1 because of the holiday. I am whirling with shock. He can't work and he gets next to nothing for pay on disability. I have put my horse up for sale. I don't understand this. He was complaining that his leg hurt and now the Drs. are saying cancer. They can be wrong right even if they specialize in oncology. This waiting period is so hard and I am trying to be strong and praying real hard. Anyone else going through this? Have you gone threw this? |

| I haven't gone through this myself, but I do know thaT one of the most important things to remember when dealing with cancer is to never give up hope. Having a positive attitude can really mean the difference between who beats it and who doesn't. I will keep your husband in my prayers.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I have not gone through this personally (meaning, had cancer myself), although my Mom had cancer. I can hear the strength in your post and I think you should grab on tight to it, as you never know the very power of that strength! You and your husband will be in my thoughts and I do hope you will keep us posted, but please know there is no pressure. As for your horse, what about a rescue or Humane Ass'n giving you temporary relief? Our Humane Assn' here provides foster/relief for emerg situations....might be something for you to look into.

| I can remember the horror the day I was told my husband would not survive the type of cancer he had. It's devestating but you don't know that yet. Please think positive, there is always hope. It horrible to wait for results, such a strain on the entire family. Your poor husband must be so very upset. I am sending prayer's your way and hoping the test results will show hope and promise with the treatment that will be given. It's the holiday season and miracles do happen. Hugs, |

| I will be sending our prayers to you and husband as well. Just keep in mind all the new advances in science and treatments. Don't let the "what if's" get the best of you.

| Thanks for all the prayers. God is listening. I know because I am starting to feel peace as time goes on. We will have the biopsy Thursday which is one step closer to the anwers we need. I have laid this at God's feet. He will be my strength. O happy note at least my husband has our 2 yorkie babies to keep him company. He really enjoys them so at least he doesn't feel so alone when I am at work. |
