No Longer a Member | Oprah today Did anyone watch Oprah today? It was the most heart wrenching show I ever saw. I just couldnt believe how anyone could have survived. My heart really goes out to that woman. |

| I was home and wanted to watch, but I had my 6 year old granddaughter here with me. I was afraid it would traumatize her so I didn't turn it on.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I watched it. I knew it had to be bad back months ago when I heard the 911 call. Very sad, very heartbreaking. I can't imagine. I personally don't see how suing the woman who owned the chimp will do anything to help. They shot the chimp. Yes, she was the owner & she is responsible. But, 50 million dollars? I think she needs to be held accountable by law. It is awful, a terrible thing, but she sounded beside her self calling 911. I seriously doubt she enjoyed watching that happen to her friend of 30 years. I dont think the family should be able to sue her for anything. If Charla wants to, that is another story. I pray she will continue to get stronger so she can have the best life possible from here on out. This is just a reminder that animals can go crazy and should never be 100% trusted. (unless it is a Yorkie) |

| She's sueing, but the money will come from the womans insurance that owned the chimp. I think she should sue for as much as possible since she will need a lot more medical care and God only knows what all for the rest of her life.

| It's a tragedy. All animals are not all supposed to be house pets. It's pretty selfish to make them live domesticated. It's horrible what happened to this women as well. |

| Unbelievably sad. I think she got her will to live because of her daughter.
