| Desperate for a Pom Breeder Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone would be able to suggest a reputable breeder of Pomeranians in the Windsor, ON area or someone who would be willing to transport a dog to us? My grandparents just lost their beloved Bubbles on Halloween and are so heart broken that they're on a desperate search to find another Pom puppy, so desperate in fact that they went to a pet store!! When I heard that I almost flipped out - but I know they don't know any better so I explained to them why that's not a good choice and so I'm trying to help them find a breeder. The thing is the dog must be a female, must be a puppy, must be cream colour, must be CKC reg & microchipped. I'm not having any luck and thought I'd ask you guys… Please if you know of any breeders in our area, I would appreciate their contact information. Much appreciated.

| I think there is one in Watford (which is between London and Chatham). Let me check with my husband--he knows them. |

| Well after a long search on the net and on the phones I managed to find a breeder in Newbury with 2 females that fit my grandparents specifications perfectly! They from a woman by the name of wendy and she seems very nice, protective of her babies and knowledgeable. I'm going up with my grandparents tomorrow to go see them!! Yay!!!

| Newbury! That is great! Newbury is the Villiage (literally 402 people live in it) that my husband if from. If you have time, stop in at McNaughton's (the big general store). You can't miss it. It is on Haggerty Line, aka the main street, aka the only street. Ask for Monte, my husband--he is one of the owners. Tell him that you know his wife, Kate from Yorkie Talk. He is sucker for yorkies. Who knows, maybe they have a yorkie lovers discount! Kate |

| aljenspoms.com This is where i got my pom. Alfred is great!!! He mainly shows poms but he does occasionally have poms for sale. His poms are AKC reg. My best friend also got her pom here too. For an extra fee, he did personally deliver my pom to me but i live in Cali. Im not sure if he would deliver out of state personally but it wouldnt hurt to ask.. I have been to his home before and its very clean. Also, even though his website says there are no puppies, please email him. He usually has some he does not post on his website. Here is Kaylee my pom. She is 5 yrs old. Kaylee 5 yrs.jpg Kaylee 2.jpg If you have any questions, please let me know. Good Luck! |

As for the breeder, thanks for the info. I will check his website out. If things don't work out tomorrow, it'll be another avenue we could try. But living so far away, I'm not sure if it would be feasible. But I'll keep his name & website in my book for future reference. Thanks again!

Do you have a local All Breed Club, if so, they usually have a breeder referral person that can direct you to a qualified breeder Or you can check out your National Pom Club.....they would have a breeder referral. Found the Canadian Pom Club info for you. http://www.pcoc.net/breeder-referral.htm

| Yesterday I drove up with my grandparents to go pick up a new baby girl. The bredder initially said that we would have the pick of the two girls, but once we got there she said the one girl had been sold the previous day (thursday). We wanted to go up Thursday but she said that she wouldn't be home. ?? And it's pretty funny since she told me on Wednesday that she didn't want to sell the girls, but that she'd part with one. ?? I think she lied and just decided that she wanted to keep the one girl, but in any event it doesn't matter that much. One thing that I was suprised about was that she didn't make them sign a spay/neuter contract? She didn't even mention it!?! They will be spaying her regardless, but I thought that was a little irresponsible of the breeder to not have such contract. All in all my grandparents are tickeled pink with their new baby. They're still debating on names: Missy, Misty or Baby, but here are some pics of her. She's just shy of 2 lbs at 12 weeks...
