| for those with a white Macbook Was your laptop getting all discolored from where your palms rest and where your keys getting all dirty looking. mine were and I was getting a wee bit upset (type a person here- like things to be perfect). WELL- the answer is a Mr. Clean Magic eraser! Took off ALL the stains- i just wet it and wrung out all the water so it was just damp and voila- like the day I bought it! Just wanted to pass on the great idea! |

| Oh my old ibook was soooo FILTHY! I ended up using the foamy glass cleaner and it worked great! Looks like the day i got it, esp with the letters rubbed off the keys b/c I bought it used and it already looked like that! LOL Good thing I know where the letters are. This has taught bf how to type a wee bit better.

| Thanks for the tip! I know what u mean.... when my white macbook gets dirty, it drives me crazy!!! So i purchased this keyboard cover which i love ..... Moshi ClearGuard Keyboard Protector for Aluminum MacBook and MacBook Pro - Apple Store (U.S.) u can wash it with warm water and soap... its great!!! and i also got this case Incase 13" Hardshell Case for Aluminum MacBook - Apple Store (U.S.) i got this when my mac book was brand new and still looks new after 3 yrs!!! then from time to time i will wipe the track pad area with a disinfectant wipe. LOL!!! i just realized how obsessed i am with keeping my macbook clean!!! Thanks for the tip tho, i will def give it try!!! |

| mine cracked slightly along the bottom edge where you rest your palms but that was because it got hit by a vacuum- so- well i can understand that. where is yours cracking? |

| Its cracking on the corners and on the bottom where that middle screw is. Too bad I didn't get the AppleCare warranty or it would have been replaced already. I'll never make that mistake again. I'll be getting AppleCare with my next Mac. This is my 2nd Mac and I'll never go back to a PC. I love my Mac...cracks and all!

| I use baby wipes. Mine has cracked in two places, just along the bottom edge of the keyboard on each side. I've put sellotape over it! xx Meggie |
