| Halloween Since when did Halloween become so stressful? I need a costume, so I went to one of those traveling Halloween stores that have all Halloween stuff. Well every costume I saw for adults lack creativity so much, seriously it's sad. You can be a sexy bee, sexy cop, sexy witch, sexy pirate, sexy cave woman, sexy scarecrow, sexy firefighter, etc.... What if I want to just have a nice costume?? I don't want to be sexy... I want to have a cool costume. So then I thought my BF & I could be Mr. & Mr. Scary monster people. I went to look at the masks and thought if he dressed in all black and I dressed in all black but a skirt and heels and a bow on my head, then we could be matching monster couple. Those masks are soo expensive and sooooo freaky looking I couldn't bring myself to touch one, never mind putting it on my head. I get the creepy crawlies looking at them. Soooooo I'm at a loss! Anyone have any good costume ideas that is NOT sexy and does not involve a ton of face makeup? (Im super sensitive and will break out everywhere if I use that stuff)

| What about like scarecrows?? He could wear overalls and a straw hat and a plaid shirt. Just stick hay out of the legs and the arms. You could do the same and you will have a nice couple costume. Maybe just round circles on your cheeks and red lipstick, just in the middle of each lip.

| Sorry, I'm not going to be any help but I totally know what you are going through. I don't want to be a sexy anything! I do not want my costume to be skin tight or expose my undergarments! I need a costume to wear to work and I'm at a complete loss.

| I always just play it simple - I'm a Redskins fan so I wear a Redskins jersey and put the black "lines" under my eyes, LOL. Hey, it works.

| I love love love Halloween! and yes if you go to those stores you will just get the cheapy mass produced stuff. You gotta be a bit creative when you want to be unique! Me and my bf are doing gypsy pirates this year. We have been collecting vintage jewelry from various countries through the year. But I also love period costumes too. Go to a thrift store and you can do 20s, 40s, 60s, 80s, etc. Personally I love the 70s, 1870s that is! Or how about: king and queen famous celeb couple characters from your fave movie doctor and nurse (it's cheap!) magician and his assistant (I've always wanted to do this one) Cleopatra and Marc antony Dracula and bride these are just off the top of my head. Hope I helped a little!
