| How come I have to do everything?!! How come I have to be the one to...... prepare all the fruit and veg.'s or it would just sit and rot in the frig!...The other night it took me an hour and a half to do this. I had to remove all the grapes and wash them...cut up the pineapple.....take the apples and nectarines out of the bags and put them in a bowl ( heaven forbid if they have to reach into a bag)....wash the lettuce.....and then cut open and de-seed 2 pints of cherry tomatoes....... put the toilet paper on the holder. If I don't it will just roll all over the floor and then get kicked around. Then the roll will be on the other side of the room when it's needed..... empty the all the wastebaskets. If I don't, the trash will pile up beside the baskets. It looks like garbage lava..... Got any of your own.... How come I have to's?......

| I guess I'm pretty lucky - hubby does his fair share of chores 'round here - BUT - he talks a big game 'round da boys. The other day, my daughter was over with her bf for dinner. Actually, her bf was running late - he arrived after we ate. His dinner was in the kitchen. and we were all in the family room. Her bf started to get up to fix his own plate - but hubby spoke up and said "just sit there, she'll get it for ya" - then just looked over at me and grinned.

| It's not so much that they don't do certain chores it's the fact that something is in need of doing and it gets ignored.....Like the T.P..... Obviously who ever got out the new roll knew the old one was empty...So if your already sitting there why not stick it on the friggin dispenser. What, you can't do two things at once.....

| Mine does stuff around the house...fills up the trash cans, fills the sink with dirty dishes, fllls the laundry hampers with dirty clothes, and does actually change the tp rolls. So I guess I can't say that he doesn't do anything around the house.

| I feel your pain!!! I work alot more than my husband plus I pay the bill etc. He had a week off in July and a week off last week. Do you think he could clean the house. No, I am going to pay someone to do it since I do not have the time. I am gone 5 days a week 10-12 hours a day, he works 12 hr shifts but only works 15 days a month. I have a horse so I need to spend time with him and it seems on my days off i am always running errors etc. I need a wife. |
