| suddenly aggressive I have 2 boys, 3y ;5.5 lbsand 2y;5 lbs. In December added baby girl. She's now almost 1y and is 3.5 lbs. Up til2 days ago, all was well. She turned suddenly on the 3y old, biting his ear until he was screaming in pain and fear. We could not open her mouth and it was terrible for about 1 min. I immediately crated her, saying bad dog. After 2 hours, took her out, she repeated biting on him. It took 3 of us to pry her off. I re-crated her for the night. Repeated bite attack the next day. She was crated, allowed out to eat and take care of business. Last night, she cried so bad, I put her in bed with me and the boys at 10p,@3a, same aggressive biting, again, only with the 3y old. I have had her in a play pen all day with potty breaks only Any suggestions? I am not having the 3y old abused and terrified, I do love her. The 2y old now spends most of the time hiding |

| OMGoodness! I wish I had advice to give you. I would be super scared for your three-year-old and how terrifying it must be for your two-year-old as well. I guess if it were me, my top priority would be to keep him safe from her. I would not have her sleep with me because I feel like that could be more dominant than her brothers who are presumably not sleeping with you. Please just take what I said as just what I think I might do if I were in this situation. I do not have experience with this and I'm unsure if my suggestion is a good one or not. I would also seek out a trainer--or behaviorist to try to figure out why your girl is acting out. If they are like skinkids then biting and aggression usually doesn't just stop unless the issue that is upsetting them is addressed. The only thing I can offer you is my support and hope that this gets better really soon. |

| This is a tough thing to deal with I agree I am going through this with my 2 females if one doesn't start in than the other one does...... geez. Talked to my vet today he said keep them separated and get the unspayed one spayed! I am getting Tootsie spayed Monday. What is weird with my girls is this just started.. one is 16 months old the other is 18 months they were best friends till recently!!!! Also for safety purposes I made the decision to put the older larger of the two on tranquilizers till Monday. Hated to do it but it is a real safety issue for the smaller tootsie she is 4 1/2 pds, Samantha is 11 pds. I have done the alpha thing and put them on their backs.... Can get scary fast!!!! Yikes!!!! Good Luck! The med my vet put Sam on is Acepromazine.

Spaying will help but I find the girls want to rule the roost no matter what.

| You know this is too confusing.....I love my yorkies but I do not want one of these kids to die....And I am sure original poster is at a loss like me..... I asked this in a post 3 days ago?? What to do???? I have a question can a sensitivity to food cause problems if you change from grain free to a food with grain? That is all that has changed recently except one is almost due to go into heat. This is soooooooooooooo scary!!!!! By alpha roll I did not do a body roll i simply tried to calm one and be assertive to and to aggressor the bigger one.... simply put her on back trying to calm her Not sure sometimes if they have jeolousy over me or the alpha thing.... I am always in room.... Sorry alot of ppl on here have advised me to be more assertive to control my dog Going to bump this for more attention.

| all of them have been fixed/neutered. Kept her out of my bed last night..so far today, so good. When I ran to store, I crated her. The two boys were sitting on top of the crate when I got home. It s really weird. I guess she does want to rule. SHE IS SCARY when showing it, though |
