| Anybody use PAYPAL Alot?? Need Help! So ok, I just now tried to order my daughter some birthday supplies off of Birthday Party Supplies and Decorations for all Occasions. Party Supply Store. Party Supplies Destination. . I saw that you could use paypal and wanted to go on and make an order. I dont use my paypal account much and never ran in to this problem before. Is it normal for online stores to ask for your credit card number in addition to your paypal?? Then it told me that my paypal account didnt have enough money for my purchase, which was wrong. I canceled out of the page not going any farther. When I checked my email, I had an email for the store, thanking me for my order! WHAT HAPPENED HERE?? what should i do?? wait and see if paypal takes my order out?? Thank you ! |

| I'm thinking that if your payment is showing as pending on your paypal, you can cancel it. |

On my paypal account, its not showing anything! Thats why I'm so confused! If i thought it went through i would just keep it, because i want what i ordered, but it was so weird because i didnt finish the order process on that website, but they sent me an order confirmation

| paypal usually has you list a back up source for payment such as your bank account or credit card. If you order something say this fifty dollars and you only have twenty five in your actual paypal account, they will take the remaining balance out of your alternate payment source so your order probably did go thru and the balance over what you had in your paypal will show up on your credit card. |

| Did the store ask for your credit card or did Paypal? Also, do you have a bank account listed on your Paypal account? I never have funds in my paypal account.. they just take it directly out of the checking account I have listed. I would just contact the store to find out if the transaction went through.

It was the store that asked for my credit card number. I was hesitate to type it in, I wanted to check on the paypal website to see if that was a normal procedure. I didnt want to type in my credit card number with out knowing first. I do have my paypal connected to a banking account of mine that doesnt have a credit card, I just used my account number from my bank to activate my paypal account. When the store ask for my credit card number it told me I didnt have enough money in my paypal account to make the purchase. The amount it was for was for $34.89. I have $170.00 in my paypal account not including the money i have in the actual banking account attached to the paypal. So i thought that was strange in of its self. The last and only time i used the paypal was to make a donated to this very forum so i would be able to do the GE when i was ready. I have no pending payment awaiting in my paypal, so Im going to email the store and tell them the problem, and maybe try again later. Does anyone know if it is in fact a normal procedure for places to ask for your credit card number to verify your address or anything like that??

| Hopefully the party supply company that you ordered from has a 800# that you can call to verify which funding they used for your order. If not, I would be on the phone with both PayPal & my CC company to verfiy which shows any transactions from the Party Supply Co. Interested to see how this all turns out...? Good luck & a big Happy Birthday to your lil' one!

| I told them to cancel the order. Which is all well and good, I got my daughter to change her theme to something we can get at our local party store. They even called me today asking about the order while we were at a doctor's appointment. I just now emailed them. Paypal still has changed. Hopefully I wont have any more problems. Thank you guys for your help. |
