Ok so I am in my backyard on Wednesday talking on the phone with my friend. She wants to go have a drink (italian soda) and asks if we can go right then. I say sure, put Ella in her kennel since we will just be gone like 1 hour and Ella needs her afternoon nap anyway..... Anyhoo, I put her in the kennel grab my purse and go meet my friend at this little coffee shop gift store thingy. When I get there I realize I dont have my phone. No big deal, I think, I just left it at home. So when I leave the coffee shop place, I go home and look for my phone. Thi isnt unusual for me.... I always misplace it.

Well an hour goes by and I cant find it. This is getting ridiculous. My mom isnt home so I go next door and ask my neighbor to call my phone for me (this is highly embarasssing for me lol but I was getting desperate!) well he calls it and says its turned off. I am like WHAT>!>!>! So one of two things happened, I think. Either I dropped it soemwhere and its broken or somebody stole it.

I spend the entire rest of the day looking for it. I go back to the coffee shop three times, and leave my mom's phone number in case someone turns it in. I drive back and forth from my house and the coffee shp like 4 times, thinking I may have set it on top of my car and it had fallen off. Nope. I check the parking lot of the coffee shop, my backyard, even Ella's kennel. No where. So I go to the phone company and have them suspend my phone so that in case someone stole it, they wouldnt run up my phone bill.

Fast forward til tomorrow. I have my grandma's phone while I go to my last day of class. I get a text from my mom saying some lady had hollees phone the whole time thinking it was hers!

So.. this lady found it in the parking lot and took it thinknig it was hers! (I guess?!?!?!!) She turned it off becasue she was trying to take a nap. I guess she didnt realize that the DOG ON THE FRONT PICTURE WASNT HERS!!!!!! gosh lol but when she finally tried to call a friend I guess she figured it out and took it back to the coffee shop whereI had given them my moms number, So happily ever after over 24 hrs later, I have my phone back from the ditzy lady.

Wow, that's pretty ditsy!!! LOL!

At least you got your phone back tho and all worked out well!

Hehe... I was thinking your pup was going to start ringing. How weird to not know that it wasn't her phone.

The other day I went to a craft store and was looking around. I found a bin of sandals for a few bucks ( my feet were killig me) in the end I decided not to get them. So I am in the store finally realizing I don't have my phone. I call it but it was on silent cause I had a meeting at the hospital! So I am freaking thinking how am I going to replace it (my brand new iPhone!!), I looked in my car, dumped out my purse , called it again... Then I went by the sandal rack for a third time and it was sitting there!! I was so happy!!! I literally almost cried. The end

I just had a similar thing happen with my blackberry. I eventually found it deep in my couch, but not till AFTER I bought a new one. Now my son has a blackberry too

I get so lost without my phone. I would have freaked out the moment that I noticed I didn't have it. I always lose my phone too. Like one time I left it in the fridge.
