| Wisdom teeth I get them out today, all 4, and I dont get to be asleep I am nervous why do we even have these stupid teeth if we just have to get them out! Ugh! Wish me the best please.... appt is at 2 texas time. Anyone have POSITIVE stories about getting their teeth out? I have only heard negative ones. I am supposed to babysit a bunch of kids tomorrow after a weddding with one other girl think I will feel up to it? Doubt it but thought I would ask anyway...

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | Hi! Sorry, but I really don't think you'll feel up to it tomorrow. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth out - and it was not a pleasant experience. I had complications though. I read that if you eat some fresh pineapple before, you won't swell up as much, and may heal faster -- but I was still down for a few days. Sorry! I hope it goes well for you!!

| You'll do great! It will all be fine! I had all 4 of mine taken out, not put under either when I was 17. It was uncomfortable for a few days but not traumatic! Good Luck! You might feel up to it tomorrow. I had a friend who got them taken out and went to work right from the dentist. I think the surgery has come a LONG ways from when I had mine out! (15 years ago)

| I think you'll do just fine! My teenage son had all of his out a few years ago and he did great. You should know that he is a big baby about anything. When he gets a little cold you would think he is dying, so I was expecting the worse! I also had a tooth pulled a while back and never had it done before and didn't know what to expect - it went well and quicker than I thought. Do what they say to after the procedure and you should avoid any problems. Good luck.

| I had all four of mine out when I was in my early 30's, but I was put to sleep. Some were partially impacted, so I did NOT want to be awake! I didn't have any complications after, but I had pain and didn't feel like doing anything for a few days! Best of luck to you!

| Sorry... didn't see this until now. Hope your ordeal went okay. My 15 year old daughter had all 4 of her's out a few months ago - 2 pulled and 2 cut out. She did awesome. Got home, put ice on her face for a few hours and then she was up and going. Couldn't even keep her laying down. You would have thought that next day that she hadn't even had it done. Luckily she didn't get any dry sockets or have any other complications. Hope your's is that easy!!

| I was back in school the same day. Little uncomfortable but not bad. You should be fine in a couple of days. |
