| Need advice with a fly problem I live in an apartment and recently a new neighbor moved in next door who is a filthy slob. There have been SIX bags of trash sitting outside her door for over a week, and the flies and rodents have been having a feast, dragging the nasty contents all over and around my entrance. I went on a trip and came back to find the trash still sitting there (I've complained twice to management...apparently they don't care), but the worst is that now I've got a nasty infestation of flies in my own apartment. Someone suggested the only way to get rid of them completely is to set off a bug bomb, since they've probably laid eggs in my apt. by now. Would this be safe if I did it while I'm out of the house all day? Obviously I'd take JoJo with me, but would it harm him after so many hours? I want to get rid of these flies effectively, but I want to make sure JoJo stays safe. I need to do something soon because I'm about to go postal on my neighbor!!

| Gross! There are pet and food safe bug bombs out there now, just look around, or call an exterminator. Set off a bug bomb in your apt, and set off a real bomb at her place.

| lolool.. yeah they are bug bombs you can buy at Lowes. The one I got was in a can and you just pull a nozzle empty the room for 30 mins and come back. That one worked pretty good =)

| LOL...I'd love to bomb her place lol. I swear, this complex I live in has the nastiest tenants I've ever encountered. Thank God my lease ends soon! It's a nice area, so you'd think it would be decent here. But no one around here cares and they're all slobs. Trash everywhere, dog poo all over the sidewalks, beer bottles and cigarette butts galore. Yuck!! Well I'm glad to know there are pet-safe products out there. I hope they work well because these flies are everywhere ugh.
