| I might be right behind you on that trek to Alaska! My son had a 7 on 7 (no linemen and no pads) football tournament this weekend. It was so humid, my glasses kept fogging up while I watched! But it was worse the weekend before when he was playing in a baseball tournament. I don't know how these kids do it!

| Yes, it certainly is. I haven't even been going outside but I have to venture to Wal-mart this afternoon. I so much appreciate air-conditioning. Where in Texas are you? I live in southeast Texas. |

| We moved to CO from KS about 2 months ago and I do not miss the humidity at all! Although, we are headed back to KS for about 2 weeks of military duty and I'm sure you won't catch me out of the hotel very often unless it's at the pool . Crazy DH wants to move to Texas: Dallas, San Antonio, Austin eventually. Argh!! I love Texas, but the humidity is terrible!!!

| Welcome to NJ Welcome to NJ, this summer has been unseasonably cool, usually by now it is 85 to 90 hot and humid. Our pool has been open since Memorial day and no one has been in it yet (pool temp 72). By now the water should be around 80 to 85. The days just recently are beautiful around 80 to 85 mostly not humid, but in the past month we have dad 24 straight day of rain (it was damp cold and yucky). But the nights are going down to low to mid 50's which lowers the pool temp drastically. Guess I should be happy though haven't turned the AC on yet this year. With my electric bill here in good old NJ running at 275.00 a month just for ceiling fans, lights and pools pump on is a killer hate to have to put the AC on . |

| Oh, I hear your pain! We are in Brenham, TX. The only thing that saves my sanity is that we have a nice wrap-around porch and live out in the country up on a high hill. It's always pretty comfortable on the porch because of the contant breeze and shade but step off of that, and it's a killer! We have plans to finally put in a pool in the next couple years (paying off debt first) and that will be a lifesaver! Especially since around here you can pretty much swim from May to November.

| Please send it our way! Like Bellamore said, this Summer in the Northeast has been horrible! Our pool as well is a chilly 78 only because our pool heater of 4 years just konked out after filling up the 100 gallon propane tank, of course . . .In a few more days I expect the pool temp to get into the mid to low 70's because of our weather conditions. I don't miss the humidity much, but at least let's get a little Summer in before Labor Day begins . . .

| You can send 20 degrees to me if you like, that would make our weather perfect. Quote:

| We also live here in Texas...Houston, and it is sweltering. We took our grandson to Galveston last weekend to play on the beach. We stayed in the motorhome till 5:30 waiting for the sun to go down so that we wouldn't melt. My grandson kept asking "NaNa is it cool enough to go outside yet" Oh well it only last a few months. |
