| Don't we have a smiley that's like a can opening up with worms spilling everywhere? It's just too early and not a good place to get into how I feel about this. They always make these "advances" sound like they are for the greater good.

I'll post a pic that will have to do. At first thought, I think no way should they be doing this. But then I try to think about the man who cannot father a child when he is so eager and able to provide for one in every other way. If scientific technology could help him father a child with his own dna, then I can see why he would want that. But then we as a human race, seem to always abuse every advance made, so were would it stop. Would they try to use this to have babies fathered by long gone men? Would they try to have babies without the father knowing someone had swiped some of their DNA? How much of this should always stay God's work and how much should we be allowed to intervene? I don't have the answers.

| "I want to die peacefully in my sleep just like Grandad Not like his passenger " Is your signature "tag line" just a joke? It sort of creeps me out, for all the people who have lost loved ones in auto accidents, including myself. Just seems a strange choice to use here.

| These kinds of things worry me. Freak me out. Whatever you wanna call it. I agree with whoever asked who would want to carry that child. Now, my question here is, if the sperm is fake, is that baby also fake? Is it like a robot or what? Why mess with this kind of stuff, just because you can? It's creepy for sure!!!

Don't worry, I have seen it a million times here in the US too.... I think it's cute. It's a joke. I lost my (well dh's) Grandpa early this year. He was the best grandpa ever, and I was very close with him. I don't take offense to it whatsoever.

Thor's Human Donating Member | I've heard the joke too, and thought it was funny. All humor is based on some kind of anxiety, meaning that its your empathy for the joke's "victim" that makes you laugh. That's why the worst jokes are sometimes the funniest.

| Actually I'm sorry -- I should not always let my fingers type every thought that I have! It did not offend me -- just creeped me out and you did not need to remove it. That was very nice that you did, but it was not necessary. I should have not posted about it at all. A different day and I might have just seen it for the joke it was meant to be.
