| Death.... whats up? Ok, I don't know if you guys know this... but it has been raining here just about EVERY SINGLE day for over a month. The temps have been chilly and people's attitudes are VERY poor. There are lots of car accidents lately and lots of deaths lately. In the last 2 weeks I have been personally connected to 6 deaths. A friend's grandfather, another friend's 2 cousins (same weekend), another friend's cousin (committed suicide), a girl I work with's MIL, and a good friend of mine died in a car accident last week. My friend's death was TRAGIC. She died driving home one night last week ... she was only 33 and has 2 little girls and a husband. Since we grew up in a fairly small town where everyone knew everyone else, the wake was HUGE!!! I'm talking 1/4 mile line from the funeral home (for all 4-5 hours), down the road HUGE. It was bittersweet because I saw people I haven't seen in AGES so that was nice, but the reason for it was awful and sad. Now that its all over, reality is setting in and its for real, she is gone for good, forever. I am really starting to feel depressed lately.

| I'm so sorry you have experienced so many losses lately! I hear you on this weather though...rain, rain, and more rain! It makes being on the Cape even crazier because all of the tourists are out driving around rather than being at the beach. There have been a ton of accidents here as well.

| Another death.. a friend's cousin killed himself. I feel sooo bad because I know her cousin's brother and his parents. They are devastated... they had 3 kids and one died of CRIBS death when it was a baby and now their son committed suicide. Its so horrible! Anyways, it's actually sunny here today wooohoooo hot too... about 84 but VERY muggy! I hope the sun keeps up for a bit. Everyone is going mental with all the rain! Hope everyone has a good 4th! Oh yeah, I live in Hudson, border of MA.

| I'm so sorry for your loss. I know what you mean it feels like many people are passing. It has been so hard... I found out a friend of mine committed suicide after having a fight with his GF. This was last month and I still feel so horrible. I kept having very bad dreams and just felt sad all the time. I am trying to focus on the postive parts of life and just trying to be very positive...I thank God for everyday he decides to give me because you just never know.

| I feel for you. We had our "three" in the last 2 weeks. The last being my husbands dad on Monday. It was expected but it's still so hard. We all need to hold onto the good memories and keep going. Donna

| Oh yes, definately! I am so sorry for BOTH of your losses. Some people take life for granted, some treasure every day. I feel awful that my girlfriend lost her life and her kids lost their mom and my friend's cousin just took his life. I'll never understand that mentality!

| I'm feeling the same way. On Tues when I went to pick my son up from the sitter, she was upset - her mother in law had just passed away suddenly. The sheriff actually found her, then I got home that night and my husbands brother called and one of their cousins passed away and the next morning my friend called to tell me that another friends husband passed away suddenly from a heart attack. It's scary isn't it? What is going on? |
