| I just cannot believe this news story! This was on the local news last night. I do not even have words for what this video shows a group of teenage girls doing to one of their "friends". It made my stomach just turn. What kind of parents raise their children to behave this way? News article and VIDEO of the incident: Video:Girl Beaten, Burned, Hair Cut Off | Teenage Girl | Violence | Beating

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | This is so sickening. Quote:
Misdemeanors?????? I can beat someone up, and cut their hair off, and it's a misdemeanor? Apparently, they were fighting over a boyfriend. If your having problems with a guy, work it out with him, not the other woman involved. It really makes me sick that people are filming this stuff, in an attempt to get U-tube famous.

| I agree with you Nancy. I wish those girls could have gotten a harsher punishment. The attacker was trying to make the victim ugly by burning her and cutting her hair. Attacking the girl will not stop your boyfriend from cheating on you. If he wants to cheat, then he will cheat. |

| How are these kids being raised thinking it is okay to do this to another person? What is this world coming to? Sadly, these are the ones who will run our lives one day ~ scary!

| My daughter and her friend have had a horrible year because of a group of girls that has decided to make their lives miserable. They were at a graduation party tonight and out of nowhere I got a call asking if I would take them out to eat which of course. Feeding teenage girls leads to talking. I was surprised that Megan saw this video on my laptop and actually watched it and then forwarded it on to a few of her friends. Soooooo~we are out having a late bite to eat and they start talking about what happened in the video. They said that there is one girl in their school who would do something like this and not even think twice! I knew who they were talking about immediately~they followed it up with "and her mom would make excused why she did it" So even the kids know that this type of behavior comes from the parents.

| That is horrible. They should get a harsh punishment...what is to stop them from doing it again. What cowards.

| Wow.. that was a horrible video.. horrible to see that happen to that girl. All over a boyfriend whose name they probably won't remember 10 years from now. Sooo sad! I hope that girl recovers quickly.

| It's time police & government take a stronger stand with this kind of thing. It starts with bulling and ends up like this and worse. With camera phones and u-tube so they can post this crap so all of their friends can see. I think that is why their are more suicides then ever before. What kind of parents are these people to bring up children like this!!

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | When I was in high school, there was a picture in the paper, of a girl with her eyes blackened and her hair all shaved off. She was to have been married the next day, and a couple of jealous girls decided that her wedding pictures weren't going to be pretty ones. I've never been able to get her picture out of my mind, but jealousy has been around since the beginning of mankind's history. Remember the story of Cain and Abel – jealousy. We have more of an opportunity now to teach and give esteem and values to young people so they won't be so threaten by feelings of jealousy, but we don't seem to be doing it.
