| Both my mom and my aunt have done WW with great success. My mom recently started and is already down 15 lbs. My aunt is a long-timer, got to her ideal weight (-35 lbs I think) and is stable. Definitely works. It's all about portion control, cutting out the bad stuff, and making the right choices. You just have to be dedicated to it to see awesome results. |

| I tried it years ago, sort of. My friend joined, I didn't. She made copies of everything for me to follow the program. Of course, I did not attend meetings but that was Ok. As for the diet itself, when I stuck to it, I did lose but I believe its all changed now. I think they have tried to make it easier to stay on the program. Even when I was on it, it was called Fast Start or something like that to jump start the lose. I need to get rid of my "winter hibernating, storing-up-fat-in-the-den weight myself. Maybe if there is interest, we can band together for support. I don't do well by myself. No discipline here whatsoever. |

| I have a friend that did it and she has lost weight and maintained it for over 4 years. She also has 4 stepkids (ages 7-16) and managed to do it and keep it off so I know that it works.

| Yes, I did it and made goal and am a lifetime member now. It really does work - but you do have to follow the plan, write down everything you eat, and be accountable about it. You also have to realize that it will take time to loose the weight- it's not a quick fix, but a long term change in your lifestyle and eating. The great thing is that it really is a lifestyle and not a diet and you can still have all the foods you love- just in moderation. I joined before my wedding over a year and a half ago - that was my initial motivator. A lot of my friends have joined now because they have seen what it did for me- I can't say enough wonderful things about it. If you decide to go for it, let me know how it goes for you |

| Lifetime Member for 21 years Yep...I did it too. I started it shortly after my daughter was born....21 years ago. I gained over 60 lbs. while pregnant with her. I lost all the weight and kept it off as WW taught me how to eat proper food and proper portions. Best thing about WW is that there isn't anything you can't have to eat. You're given XX number of points a day to spend. It's like living on a $$ budget. Plus, you can earn extra points through exercise. Go for it...you won't be disappointed! |

| weight watchers I am just starting my 6th week. I have lost 8lbs and 3 oz. I am eating everything I really want to but I am eating much LESS, and thinking about what I want to eat. I diligently track my points. I am really going to do it, I have to.

| i have gained 60+lbs due to an underactive thyroid. My endocrinologist just suggested that I try it.. haven't done it just yet. My whole system seems a bit messed up so I need to see another specialist.. but eventually I think I will break down and join. I am told that it is much more successful if you attend the meetings rather than doing it on your own.

| I've been there done that, earned my gold key on New Years Eve. That was years ago, shortly there after we moved to an area where meetings were inconvenient and I stopped going. I have since "found" all that I lost . It does work when you are properly motivated! And it is a very healthy way of eating and thinking about food. |

| Yes, I go every Wednesday for a few weeks now. I am faithful to stiking with point allowance most days. Lost about 12 pounds so far. two have lost 70+ and it took a year but they came every week I am told. I have gone about 6 weeks so far. Some week I am up a liitle and some same but I retain water from any sodium so I really loose it just doesn't show each week on the scale. I'd go for it. |

| My daughter and I joined WeightWatchers Online the first of the year. It is a great program because you can eat anything you want, just control portions. I think you will like it. Let me know if you need a buddy. I lost 30 lbs this year!

I feel like its NOT a diet its just the correct way to eat!.... I like the old counting points method.
