Donating YT 7000 Club Member | It Seems Strange, But I'm Sad... As some of you may know, i was dog sitting my neighbor's dog, Emo, the last few days while she and her kids were camping. I see him *almost* every day, but i felt so sad tonight when i locked the door. (she comes home tonight) i mean both 2 nights he cried when i left but tonight he just seemed so sad. i actually started to cry. it took me FOREVER to leave and when i finally did he jumped in the window and started to cry and bark. he did it the whole time i was walking across the street. i must have turned back to look at him 10 times. i've dog sat him quite a few times, but its never been this hard.. do you think i'm over reacting?? ok, i'm done now, i figured if anyone would understand it'd be all of you!

| Ah, he's lonely right now and doesn't want you (his only friend in the world in his view) to leave. It tugs at your heart. Just remember his mom will be home and he won't be sad anymore.

| Awww, he was scared of sweet little Tucker?! That is too bad, he would have had such a good time and not been lonely. I am glad his mommy is home now. You are such a sweetheart for looking out for him and you have a great big heart to be sad for him. Tucker is so lucky to have such a wonderful mom as you!

| Oh megan I can feel your pain,I use to look after my neighbours elderly dog and when I use to go up and check him which was often I would find himsitting on the drive in the pitch black and cold waiting for them to come home so in the end I took him back to my place to look after him and my dogs didnt pay him any attention as he was very old.He died last year at the ripe old age of 14. | Emo knows that you are a lot of fun and that you care about him a lot! He probably loves your company more than his own family. There's nothing wrong with being sad, we can easily get attached to pets in even a day or two. At least your neighbors aren't moving far away and you can still see Emo a lot! So be happy for that! |
