| Cordless phones Ok...so i have a set of 3 cordless phones that I bought all together from Best Buy less than a year ago....its a Vtech. ALL 3 of them dont hold a battery charge for more than 15 minutes. Its sad...and my work is getting annoyed with me when they call me cause i keep hanging up on them by mistake! Of course i dont have the receipt...so the warranty is probably invalid. So NOW i have to buy new phones today. I'm just wondering if anyone has a good cordless phone(had to have caller ID...i hate talking to my father in law) and what brand is it? Thanks.

| We got a set of three Vtechs and there is this annoying hiss or buzzing in the background. I thought they were nice phones too.

| I have the 3 hand set phone system from Vtech, I replace the batteries every 4-6 months and they work great I got my batteries at walmart.. the batteries they come with dont really last that long have you tried to replace them before buying a new set of phones... |

| V tech phones will sometimes do this if you have a non compatable phone in another part of your house? If you unplug that they usually come in clear. I learned this after having the phone company come to check my lines.. I had a regular house phone in the kitchen which made my cordless phones make a weird staticy buzzy sound.. |

| I had to buy four different sets of cordless phones before deciding on the ones I have now. I have a hard time hearing half the time and these have a nice volume. Also no buzzing and such... they are G.E. 6.0.. they have the google button on it. Has caller I.D. and an answering machine. If I remember right you can add on additional phones if needed. This one came with one additional cordless. I think I got them at walmart

| Well, I have a 2 set Panasonics downstairs and have a set with 2 upstairs that are unidens. No problems with either brand and they are both older, never had to replace the batteries in any of the 4. Both have caller id and callwaiting. So I would recommend either of these brands. |

| We also had those crappy Vtech ones that had zero battery life, now we have Panasonic ones and love them. I like that you can add a number into your phone book on one phone and it syncs with all the units so you don't have to add the number manually to each unit. Battery life is awesome and they sound great. |

| I have a Panasonic and a Uniden. Both are cordless with caller ID. I haven't had any problems with them and have had each for about 3 years. Panasonic battery life is great! I can leave it off the charger for 5 days before it dies.

| My mom has the Vtech phone and we do too (we don't have our house phone hooked up now though) and they suck so bad. I hate them. I can go in the other room to talk and it looses signal because it's supposedly too far from the dock. I think all Vtech phones are just crappy.
