| Vandalism at cemetery The cemetery where my Dad, Mom and Rich are buried was vandalized last night. Thank goodness none of our graves were bothered, and the granite bench in memory of Mom and Dad was fine, but my gosh...there are broken stones everywhere there! How can anyone be so low as to vandalize a gravesite? It had to be strong people because those things weigh a ton. They even turned over a memorial to our heros and that is broken to pieces. This just makes me sick to my stomach. I hope and pray they catch those dirty criminals. It is going to be a sad site for Memorial Day because I'm sure they cannot get all those back together by then. They will have to bring in a crane to get them lifted and bolted/glued back onto their bases. Some are broken beyond repair. What is this world coming to?

| That just happened where our kids live too. They checked and all of our family head stones are o.k...including ours. (Yes, we already have them set) I forget how many head stones they damaged but they came back 3 nights in a row and the third time they got caught...they were arrested, charged and will face some pretty steep fines. These were boys in their pre-teen and early teen years...they did a lot of damage. |

| That is really sad. Those dead people have lived their lives and should be respected and allowed to rest in piece without some weirdos going around and vandalizing crap. That's really sad because those people in the graveyard is someones loved one - what if the same thing happened to those people's loved ones? I hope they catch 'em too!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | That is horrible, Connie. How terrible for those families. I am glad your parents and Richie's were ok.

| It happens here more often than it should. Very sad and pitiful that the people committing such acts have nothing better to do with their time. I am glad none of your family's graves were touched, my thoughts are with those families who were not so "lucky".

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | that is HORRIBLE. who could be so low? I am so sorry that that's happened. Even though your family's graves weren't bothered (thank GOD), I know it's still, of course, had an emotional affect on you. There is absolutely no excuse for acts like that. Heartless. I'll have the affected families in my thoughts.

| It's so upsetting to read things like this and I have many times. There is a very old historial cemetary in this town that dates back to the early 1800. Most of the stones have been broken by kids with nothing better to do. Unfortunately over the years these kids never get caught. One day they will realize what they did then they will have to live with it. |
