| I've watched every season. During the first season, I tuned in out of curiousity as to why anyone would subject themselves to public humiliation, but got hooked because it is just so real and the people are such motivating examples. I LOVE this show!!!!

Thor's Human Donating Member | I have a love/hate relationship with this show. On one hand, I find many of the people very inspiring, particularly Tara this season. On the other hand, I feel like in many ways it encourages unhealthy attitudes towards weight loss, namely self-loathing (there's always an episode where the newly skinny confront pictures of their former fat selves and talk about how disgusting and unhappy they were), and incredibly unrealistic weight loss goals. I think it's sooooo important for weight management to make it an everyday habit, not these major heroics where you work out for ten hours per day and cry if you "only" lose six pounds per week. And then there's the NAME. Biggest Loser. Gah. That said, I do watch compulsively, and caught up on Season 1 the other day on Bravo. I've looked for previous years' episodes, but it seems like they just started with last year, the same year I got Tivo.
