LUV my 3 Furrs & Alex Donating Member | Alex's tumor was removed! Before and after pictures with an update!!! For those that don't know what happened here are the threads: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/spe...ease-read.html http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/spe...rs-please.html And for those that know I would like to say thank you again. Your YT prayers have helped me and my family to no end and gave me the strenght to keep on going. We spoke with Alex's surgeon months ago and he told us they wanted to do the surgey before Alex started school...But we have received a letter from him a month ago saying that he spoke with other neurosurgeons and they've come to the conclusion that they may have been wrong and that in fact they wern't sure what type of tumor that is so he told me he wants to do the surgery in about 2 months...He sent us a letter a week later and wrote that he wants to do the surgery in 3 weeks...I was getting more and more scared but in the same time relieved...that they were finally gonna find out what type of tumor it is and actually do something about it...Believe it or not 2 days later after them telling me they wanted to do the surgery in 3 weeks his secretary called and told me to pack b/c I needed to be at the hospital next day so they can do the surgery the day after...THAT was sooooooooo fast but he had the surgery and besides for his blood presure not wanting to come down after the surgery for 2 hours, everything ealse went great...The scar is right under the hair line and my baby doesn't have a tumor anymore...Now we have 4 weeks of wait before finding out the results...Keeping fingers crossed and praying for good news... Alex has been such a fighter through all of this...Two hours after the surgery he was playing in the hospital playroom with some cars...We've missed you, we are happy we're finally back!!! And here are some pictures of before and after the surgery!!!

| I'm so glad your little boy is doing well! The doctors did a great job on the incision and it looks like you wont even be able to tell its there as he gets older. He's so adorable. Looks like he's happy to be back to playing with mom and dad. I wish you all well in a full recovery.

| OMG you have been on a roller coaster ride! I know you are so relieved to have the surgery behind you and can't wait for the next 4 weeks to be over. I just know it will be good news. Loved seeing all of the pictures.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Maria, how very nice to hear/read from you again, specially if it is good news. Wow, I can't believe those pictures, baby Alex playing, only 2 hrs. after surgery, babies bounce back like nothing, but for you however, will take so longer to get over this big scare.I'm glad everything went fine and that Alex is recovering so fast, I look forward to see more pictures and keep reading good news from you.
