| Just a little rant. People gotta lov 'em It was pouring here today. I ran to the store to pick up some last minute things for tomorrow. When I get to the door of the store all the carts are kind of stuck together so I went into the store by the register and I saw a woman with her 20 something son. Well they only had one plastic bag with a few items in it so I asked politely if she was done with the wagon if I could have it well she said NO I NEED IT. There was noplace else she could have gone with the wagon except her car. I was so angry. I went back outside in the pouring rain and walked to the parking lot and got myself a wagon. Needless to say I was soaked. I was sooooo mad. I hope someone returns the favor to her someday. I am always the one who is so nice and I hold the door for people. I let older people go ahead of me on line. I just ran across a selfish b***h. Even the cashier looked at me like she couldn't believe this woman. I try not to let things get to me but I was really mad. Thanks for listening to my rant.

| You had one of those days too? lol I have been moving all day, so needless to say, I wasn't dressed in tiny little hip hugger jeans and a tiny little top and heels... I had a pair of baggy sweatpants, an oversized t-shirt, and my hair was back in a pony tail. I ran past the store and there were two guys in their 20's in line in front of me and were like "It must be casual Saturday" and the other guy said "Must be MORE than casual Saturday". I wanted to slap them... yes, I looked like a bum, but I was working all day and truthfully, I'm NOT trying to impress anyone. Hubby said he didn't see anything wrong with the way I looked and he said that those guys were lucky that HE wasn't there when they said that. I just ignored it. People are just so ignorant and self absorbed.

| The thing is I wasn't mad at all. The rain wasn't bothering me. I got a pretty good parking spot. There just wasn't any wagons by my car so I figured I would get one inside. I just couldn't believe my ears. I thought she would have said, "sure take it I don't need it anymore" I actually did a double take when she said no because I was not expecting to hear her say no. Oh well, It's no big deal it just ticked me off. I'm just waiting here for my 18 year old daughter to get home. She went to Florida for spring break and she is flying back right now. So I'm a little nervous about her being in the air right now. My dh is driving me nuts because he can see the flight on the internet or something and he keeps telling me how many miles away they are and all the stats that I don't care about. I'm nervous enough. What if he can't see the plane anymore does that mean it crashed I wish he would shut it already. Sorry another rant. I really am not an angry person

I had to go to the store 3 times in a row (I kept forgetting stuff) and each time went out with one item. I thought going through the self check out would be faster cause technically I don't think you should have 123.814 items in your cart, but every self check out was taken by people with a whole cartful. I had to wait in a line for 1 stupid little item and I was already irritated that I had to go back so many times. UGH!

| I would of asked her "WHY" she needed it so bad... then watched as she realised how selfish she was when she came out with her dumb excuse. Omgosh... how rude is that!?!

| A couple years ago a store in my area 2 women got into a FIST fight in the 12 items or under check out lane! The woman had 13 items! The local news stations were there, it was all over the news... I found that so funny. The other day I went through and had 15 items. I felt bad but 15 items in the 12 item lane is nothing. Sometimes when its busy, (like holidays) the 12 items or less lane is less busy so the cashiers there will take full cart people to help out.

| I even hated to ask her. But it was raining and no wagons anywhere so I just figured I would look by the registers. I'm telling you she had 1 plastic bag with a few items in it. It didn't look heavy and besides her big son was with her. I was just stunned. I certainly would not have asked if it would have inconvienced her in any way. Or if she had a child in the wagon. I have struggled to get to my car with my bags in my hands just so I could give my wagon to someone with a small child. I've been there!! Unfortunatly I got a woman that was just ignorant to human behavior. That's ok though, I dried off...she will continue to be ignorant.

I know my grandmother's buggy doubles as a walker when she goes to the store, even if, as you say, she has very few items. I certainly hope she hadn't inadvertantly upset someone over doing that. Last edited by BamaFan121s; 04-13-2009 at 07:57 AM. | |
