I am still in week 1 of my training where I interval between 2 minute brisk walk and one minute run for 21 minutes total and I thought it would be a piece of cake, nu uh! I'm not in bad shape just running is new to me, I previously did pilates, and the elliptical but wanted to try something different so i started this running program, whew I feel the burn for sure! Any tips you guys have would be awesome!

| I'm training for the Nike Women's 1/2 Marathon in San Francisco in October. I am just starting so I am only going about 3.5 miles in 1 hour on the tredmill 3 times a week. My cousin sent me some training programs that I need to look over and see how I should train but I think that most training programs assume that you can already run about 4 miles so I need to get up to that before I start the program. Good luck with your training! When is your race?

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | I'm aiming to get into shape for a 5K this summer. Might I suggest a truly fantastic program? It's called Cool Running. It's a "Couch Potato to 5K" running plan. It breaks it up so that your body can get used to the work and movement. Cool Running :: The Couch-to-5K Running Plan

I have another 5k the last weekend of this month (locally in our VERY small town)! DH and I were talking about it (he runs as well) and he is going to run in the 5k and I am going to have the babies with me. I will probably just walk this one since I will have them for the entire race. I have thought about possibly trying to run with them but does anyone have any experience with running with TWO babies at once? I do use a coupler so that helps with walking. I'm making little race shirts for them for the BIG DAY! There is a festival that weekend as well and there is a "no dog" policy this year! UGH... so at the VERY least, they are going to be in the 5k! hehe I will definitely post pictures when the big day arrives!
