| Does anyone here believe in The Law Of Attraction or has seen the movie "The Secret"? Im asking this because of puppy mills. If you know about the law don't you think that the more you talk about how much your against puppy mills and sign things to stop them your giving them strength. You should be for animals being able to live good lives and so on. |

♥ Mama's Boy ♥ Donating Member | Puppy mills are not giving animals good lives and talking about it educates people me like me who did not know that pet stores got there dogs from puppy mills or even what puppy mills are but now I do and I know that I will never support a puppy mill by buying a dog with out asking all the correct questions or from a pet store, so to me your statement makes no sense to me.

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | I haven't seen The Secret. But I don't really understand. Being against puppy mills and speaking up about it is saving people potential heartache and educating people about the honest Hell that these dogs live in. We SHOULD be for animals to live good, happy, healthy lives, and that is completley opposite of a puppy mill. I am confused by your post.

I know your educating people about them but it should be more of a fight for animals living better lives because your just giving them more power by giving them so much of your energy. Have you seen he secret? | |

| I think I've seen this "secret" thing you talk about. It's kinda like positive thinking, right? Kinda like if you think "I'm going to get that promotion" you will get it because of the power of your thoughts, or something like that. SO... it stands to reason that if we here on YT all sit in front of our computers and think of how wonderful all dogs' well being will be when puppy mills cease to exist, then aren't we on the right track? Aren't these post just thoughts written down? Just asking!!

| could you maybe tell us how you think we could best help those dogs in puppy mills then, if talking about them and advising others about avoiding them is wrong? Im a bit confused because you seem to have kinda contradicted yourself a bit in your last post. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Some people think we shouldn't give attention to certain things because our very act of attention reinforces what that person or institution is trying to accomplish. For example skin heads – some people think if the news talks about them too much, some people who are lost and lonely and looking for a crutch will join the organizations, giving them more power. On the other hand, if we talk about puppy mills, and inform people about kennel conditions, this does not give the millers more power, it actually helps people get involved and encourage the legislatures to pass more laws that will put puppy millers out of business. So it does work, and we have to be careful where we place our energies. I like to focus on raising kennel conditions rather then stopping commercial breeders.
