| Any Insurance Agents? Question. Hey I'm just wondering if there are any Insurance Agents or commissioners here on YT. I have a question and I've googled it and researched and still cannot find an answer. Here is my question; My husband applied for Life Insurance and at the time of application he gave the agent a check for the amount of his monthly premium (This was based on if he were approved for insurance). Anyway, on the 15th of February the agent contacted my husband and said he was NOT approved for insurance (he has some health issues) BUT today, I was going over my bank account online and the company cashed our check on the 23rd which was eight days AFTER they declined him. Was it legal for them to cash my check if they declined him? We contacted the agent but he has not gotten back to us. Thanks. Elaine |

| Yeah, we're going to call tomorrow again. I'm sure they will refund it but it just pisses me off that the company had the nerve to cash the premium AFTER they denied him coverage. I'm not sure but I would think by cashing it then they are entering a contract to insure him? I didn't think they could legally cash a premium AFTER they deny coverage? Very aggrevating. |
