| Survived the Snow Storm Just a note to let you all know that Maxwell & I survived the snow storm we had in Louisville. We got hit pretty hard. I couldn't literally get out since the gate was frozen as well as the lock on it, and my car had a pile of snow and sleet around it. I had someone to come and dig me out. After 2 days I found a hotel that would take dogs and slid out of here (pun intended). Any of you all experienced this where your at~? Also, Maxwell was the hit of the Hotel~! Everyone loved him and he was greeted by staff every morning and evening. There was numerous of dogs there, but Maxwell was the quiet one of them all. He was a bit uncomfortable there, but after 3 days he knew his way around and finally started eating better. Are dogs in general uncomfortable when you go from their enviroment to another~? |

No Longer a Member | We were without electric for 2 days last week when the ice storm hit, but we were lucky, some still don't have electric. We have a gas cooking stove and gas hotwater heater plus gas fireplace, had a generator for the refrig. and tv and of course computer .LOL Needless to say we didn't ruff it too bad. |

Now that is some ice! Wow. Glad you have your electricity now. We were mostly hit with snow in Northern Kentucky, with a little ice thrown in, in the middle. Here is a picture of my DH and Piccolo on the deck, from my YT album.
