| Dog killled in kennel care at a vet I just came across this on the ASPCA website, and it is just very disturbing. My dog Sammy was attacked and killed at Canyon Animal Hospital, Genesee, CO - ASPCA Online Community |

| Disgusting and heartbreaking! It's even worse to have happened at a vet's office. I hope he is able to put them out of business. What a tragic way to lose a beloved pet.

| Wow, that's really sad. That's exactly why I would never board my dog.

| That is absolutely horrible! Thank goodness she got the necropsy. They hooked him up to IV and then LEFT him a few hours?! WTH??!! Everything about that story is just wrong on every level.

| wow..how sad. that's why I can never board my babies. We take them everywhere with us unless we have to fly somewhere. Even then, we take one with us and leave 2 with my parents. I only trust my parents to babysit my girls.

| We would never board our babies either. We made the mistake of doing it once and one of our babies (dogs we had before we had our Yorkies) was almost dead from neglect. The quilt we took from home for them to lay on for comfort was covered in urine and feces. This place was expensive and considered exclusive. We got the most expensive setup, a private suite with video for them. Never again. This is so sad. I can't even imagine how upsetting that would be.
