Filed a dispute with paypal Im looking for a adult dog to add to the flock louie cant handle puppies, so ran into an add on the web a 2yr old poodle female 21/2 pounds so I contacted the lady through email I sent her a 200 dollar deposite the poodle was 1300 then in conversation. I find out she is 31/2 pounds this is after I sent deposite but so long as she is no more then 4 pounds its Ok Louie can handle that. Then I find out she had puppies she just made 2 in Jan she had puppies in jan of last year that means she bred this little thing at 10 or 11 months old to many red flags. While my deposite was sent on sat come wed no pics yet so I told her this would not work out she said fine, but when I emailed her about my deposite no response. Am I being reasonable its only 200.00 dollars but she should post the latest pic and truth 1300.00 is too much to pay for an adult female that had pups at 1yr old.

That is so sad. You really need to be careful, there are so many folks out there just waiting to take your money. Never ever deposit a dog until you see it in person. This is a true set up for the bait and switch. I hope things all work out...keep us updated. I have had issues with paypal in the past and the aggrevation trying to get my money back was not worth the stress of dealing with it. Good luck

I agree, dont get me wrong, I am not beating you up, it just makes me so mad that there are so many dishonest people out there that you have to think twice before making any moves. Its hard when you get your hopes up and prepare yourself to make the leap and then you do and it turns out bad. My heart aches thinking about you wanting to open your life up to a pup and these people just treat it like a business transaction. I hope you get what you were looking for eventually. Its hard to take the leap but I hope this doesnt change your mind from looking.

Sadly, things like this happens alot. People are greedy, and will do anything to just get the money. Scams lie around EVERYWHERE! Now I know this wasn't a scam, but she WAS lying about what she had. I would definately withdraw from the deal. Last edited by AMD; 01-31-2009 at 08:53 AM.
