| Who really cares what the Obama girls are wearing Is it just me or does anyone really care what the Obama girls are wearing, playing with etc. I just don't want to hear it for 4 or more years. I understand that they are now going to live a very public life being the children of the President. But I really don't care how their hair is done, what they are wearing, and so forth. It's like "oh, they are wearing red so now thats the new hot color for the season". Or they are playing with a certain toy so it will be a hot seller. It's ridiculous. I would rather hear what their father, the President is doing to serve our country. I don't know, maybe it's just me. |

| that's the media for ya. Its the same with that miley Cyrus. There are a lot of really informative articles and things on what the president to be is doing. I guess they have to print what sells and sadly these types of things do sell magazines and pull viewers. Hang in there "the new car smell" will ware off and the media will focus on other things They are beautiful little girls by the way! I can see why so much attention is focused on them

| I hate when the media goes after the kids...let them be kids and leave them alone Focus on the President not his kids . I just think it's tacky and wrong.

| I think it will all slowly die down after the inauguration and they are settled in. They do go to the extreme sometimes like, every little detail but that is the media for ya!

| Interesting. . . . . . If you don't care about something why give it any attention, even here. I work with kids and it's kinda cool to listen to their comments about the Obama children and what it might be like to be in the same position. Everything is a teaching moment. With all the negative you see and hear, I'm refreshed to see the Obama kids! I'm looking forward to the next four years. Soooooooo, if you don't care about something, why talk about it here? What do the Obama kids have to do with yorkietalk, unless they have decided to get a yorkie for the kids!!! WoooHooo! Hmm, so maybe it is, just an individual thing. |

| mattiematt....I think she is just stating an opinion. Yorkie Talk has nothing to do with weddings, vacations etc.. However, many members post about it. |

| I must be watching different news stations because I've heard nothing about them other than that they were starting school the other day.

| I haven't seen anything about this either. Lord knows our young girls need better role-models than the ones out there right now anyway

Donating YT Addict | sometimes i think the media should leave families alone too. You know just like right now all the stories about John Travolta losing his son.....give the people a break they need their space. i think it's true with the president....yeah his family is in the spotlight but don't pick it to death like what they are wearing and the little stuffed bear or whatever it was on the news the other day that one of the girls took to school. they said on the news this morning that it would probably become popular because she took it to school. sometimes i think that's what's wrong with this country sometimes.....they put value in things to much and being into to many people's business when they should mind their own. this is just my opinion.....not bashing anyone
