| Christmas Eve plans/traditions I just thought it would be fun for everyone to share their plans and traditions for the holiday. Tonight we are going to church, then my family and us are going to my mother in laws house and playing White Elephant. Tomorrow morning into the afternoon we'll be at my mother in laws house then we're going to DH grandmother's house for a christmas "lunch" spread. After that we are going to my mom's house and have a fake me out christmas dinner. None of us on my mom's side feels like cooking a traditional christmas dinner and we're all adults so it's not like we NEED to, so we are getting some deli ham, frying it up and putting it on a bun and having sides with it. I'm make "Trash" for a snack. The only thing traditional we are doing is our punch. We make the lime sherbert/7 up punch every Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | It is just me and hubby as all our family live elsewhere. We will relax and feast and we may head to Flagstaff for the weekend (mountain town). Our dinner tonight is: *Lemon pepper popovers w/ gruyere *Smoked salmon bisque *King crab *Red Velvet Cake (home made, my family recipe) Tomorrow we are going to graze all day on cheese and crackers, homemade guacamole, cake, and whatever else blows our hair back.

| Tonight we are going to dh's Grandpa's and eating dinner. When we come home the kids will all open a gift, which is a pair of pajamas, like every year. Tomorrow my Grandma is coming over tomorrow for dinner/brunch. We usually go to Grandmas and have a huge family get together there, but since her and her husband's health has taken a bit of a turn, they don't have the energy for it anymore. It makes me sad because almost every Christmas of my life has been spent with her at her her house.

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | Fun thread! Tonight we are going to our friend's house for a Christmas Eve party. We've known them foreverrr....and it's always fun to get together. Then I'll probably be leaving that early to go with my cousin to Midnight Mass. Then in the morning we open presents. After that I go carrolling with a family from church - we go to a local nursing home. Then we go to my aunt's house for dinner.

| Tonight, I am cooking a Prime Rib dinner for my Step son (tofurkey for his GF) my daughter and her BF, me and DH. Then Midnight Mass, tomorrow to my nieces house for Christmas Breakfast and then dinner at my sisters. We have a very big family so trying to see everyone means lots of places to go. I baked cookies for the past couple of days, and will deliver them tonight to all the neighborhood kids. Happy Holidays to Everyone.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Tonight my birth son and his wife will come over (2nd Christmas that we have been reunited) and we will order in food and open gifts. Then tomorrow my 89 year old father, my 2 brothers, sister and their families will all come here and we are doing a grab bag and then open presents. We will have appetizers, honey baked ham and various salads and deserts. This is also the 2nd Christmas without my Mom so it is bittersweet. She never got to meet my birthson (37 years old).

| Well tonight we're headed to my mom's for the traditional "Feast of the Seven fishes". 7 different kinds of fish...no meat. Everyone in my entire extended family will be there. Full house, but Pasquale will love the attention. Tomorrow we're going back over to my mom's where it will be just our immediate family for a nice relaxing day. Later that night i have to work...so i'll go home and nap for a few hours. Hope you all have a very relaxing holiday!
