| OMG, just discovered Amazon Fresh Has anyone tried this? Amazon.com now has a home delivery grocery service. I'm sitting here looking at nearly one foot of snow, ice, about 20 degrees outside and just heard we are in for major winds this weekend, with gusts up to 90 mph. So I think to myself. I'm snowed in. I'm out of cat food. I'm still in a cast boot, I really need groceries and don't want to go out. I recall seeing the Amazon Fresh truck so I Google and see what it is about. Come to find out, it is linked right to the Amazon.com account that I already have. I went in there, selected all my usual items that I need with most of the usual brands that I already buy. They even let me choose whether or not I wanted by bananas on the greener side. I Click on which delivery address and credit card I want, and Voila. Groceries will be delivered early Saturday morning. Totes will be left on the doorstep while I sleep. How cool is this? And there was no delivery fee. Prices about the same as going to the store. I could learn to like this. Sorry if I sound so excited, I have never used a home grocery delivery service before. Now if I could just get Fred Meyer to deliver so I would earn rewards!

| LOL! That is so cool! Kinda scary though for the situations with people doing it just because they're too lazy to go. Gives people even more of a reason to not get off their bootays. Great for people in your shoes though!!! Let us know how it goes and if you get your right kind of bananas

| Our grocery store offered home delivery several years ago, and I actually took advantage of it when I was very ill. It made things easier for my hubby because he was working full time and going back and forth to the hospital. I think it's great for disabled people, the elderly, people who are ill, bad weather, etc. I think it's great!

| Regular amazon.com has groceries, just not fresh groceries. I've never used it but they have stuff like cereal and laundry detergent. I might try it soon since we have snow predicted every day next week!

| Amazon Fresh isn't available in our area but I bet it's a godsend for those in bad weather areas! I know my mom would have welcomed something like that when we were younger and she broke her ankle and getting to the grocery store (and up and down all the aisles) was a real pain. She had to send me and my boyfriend (who was older than me and was able to drive) to the store with a signed check and a strict list and I know she dreaded seeing what we'd come home with. I bet this service will be very welcomed by many homebound people! I hope it continues to spread to more areas.

| My grocery store delivers for free but of course we always tip the driver. I like to pick out my own but in some cases it is a wonderful help.
