Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | Snow snow more snow to come Oh my gosh, are we ever getting a snow. When I can get out and take some pictures I'll post them. We have a foot on the ground already, it is a heavy wet snow, really packing. We are in the mountains so getting a lot more. Gosh, I miss hearing the wonderful laughter and those little voices out enjoying the snows years past, sledding on the hills, romping with there fur babies How I loved making hot chocolate and take out to them, such fun times those were. It's like a blizzard now, snow swirling all about. Total white out. Our internet connection may go out cause we are working off the satelite on the south mountain, it does happen with these storms. I shall hurry and post this cause we are having problem with the satelite connection. Thankful we had warning to get this snow storm so I was prepared with getting in extra groceries and have the wood ready to load up the wood stove. Anyone else having snow, enjoy it and if you are lucky to have the young running out and about maybe you might have enjoyment out of fixing them some good ole hot chocolate Have fun and enjoy it. Have a nice day and if you got snow, hope you can enjoy it, we will just looking out at it. Hugs, Patti and Jack |

Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | Oh my gosh Mike, what a day this has been, the winds made it blizzard condition, no pictures today but will take some in the morning and post. Many large trees are having the huge branches breaking and falling, so happy we had all our big trees taken out couple years ago. Neighbor on the back road behind us, not being experienced in this stuff, drove his new big one ton Dodge Ram four wheel out earlier, and then going back home in front of our place he was slipping and sliding all over the place on the road, he was really giving it the gas, oh my gosh I heard this loud...... yeppers looks like he creamed the drivers side on the flagstone entry post going into their driveway Measured about two feet and then the drifts were three feet. They are saying on news more tonight. It's not snowing at the moment. Gosh, sure was a lot of work getting that wood stove fired up, I need you to tell me how to stoke up a wood stove and keep it going. Whewww, I can't believe how many times I have had to put logs in. By the way what kind of wood stove do you use up there in Alaska? I will be sure to get pictures in the morning to post here, our computer keeps going down. |

I can't remember the brand of woodstove we have. It's just a fireplace insert. It doesn't seem to save us a lot on the heating bill, but it sure is nice to have when it gets cold. It has a glass front so we can see the flames.

| Be careful Patti and Jack... Dear Patti , Jack and the liyyle ones, You be very careful getting those pictures in the A.M. What state do you live in?? We're in Pa. There might be an inch on the ground. We had sleet and freezing rain on top of it. Now they're calling for snow on Fri and Saturday, Followed by sleet and snow. They're even predicting light snow for Christmas Eve. The reason I asked about where you live was that the hubby LOVES snow. He works part-time for a Nursery and grocerey store and plows for them when it snows. Last year all total we probably did'nt get 1 foot. He was so disappointed. He also will be Santa Claus @ one of their other stores on Sat. from 12:30-2:30 and snow would make him real happy!! I'm taking Baron over to see Santa and get his picture taken. There will be everyone and their kids and me and my dressed-up Yorkie baby!! I can't wait to see if Baron recognises Rory's voice!! Baron sees the groomer on Friday. He turned 1 year on Nov.30... It's after 3 a.m. here and I'm up as usual til the sun comes up! Thank Goodness I have my computer back. It sounds like you have enough food and firewood for awhile, Please stay in and be safe. Your YT Friends, Jodi and Baron

| Hi Patti! I can't wait to see pictures! Right now, you've got more snow than we do...isn't that unreal? Course, it's warmer there! I think we're still below zero here, but it's in the single digits rather than double. So, keep warm, my friend. Make you and Jack a cup of hot chocolate and sit back and watch a good movie! Maddie and Libby send kisses! They said to tell you that since you got all that snow, they don't want to come and live with you after all. hee hee

Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | trying to post pictures. Hope I can stay connected long enough to get a couple pictures posted. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The sun is out, looks like we will be stuck in for a few days, the ground was too icey for me to get about so I hurriedly got a couple pictures. Thankfully the oleander bushes have sprung back with the sun melting the snow off the branches so glad we didn't loose them. Thanks Connie for posting the pictures for us. Hugs, Patti and Jack |

| Patti wanted me to tell you that she's not able to post pictures right now...she keeps getting an error. She was going to email them to me to post, but that didn't work either. She'll get pictures up later when her computer is cooperating!
