| Making a website? YT members I need your help!! Hey all! I noticed that a lot of the members here have their own websites selling dog clothing, beds, grooming supplies, etc. I am wondering if you could share some information as to how you made your site, who did it for you, which hosting company are you with, how did you make the shopping cart, and how much did it cost. I am wanting to make a website to sell my purses, wallets, jewelry, etc. I wouldn't be selling anything pertaining to pets at all. Let me know if you have any info for me, it would be greatly appreciated! |

| Have you ever heard of . . . Etsy.com? It's a place to sell all things hand made. You can actually set up a link there to your site. I read a bit about it, but don't make enough stuff to follow through. You might look though, for ideas and contacts with some people there who have their own websites and are linked to this site as well as headlining some of their things. I think they actually have some learning tools there on doing this very thing. Good Luck. |

I should have specified, I don't actually make the bags and wallets, etc. I have kind of like a store, right now I am just using facebook to sell it all. I love etsy though! some people are so creative! | |

| my husband My husband does web design on the side if you are looking for someone to do it. I will pm you with his email and you can check out the work he has done in the past. I can never remember how much he charges... but it usually depends on the time/work/effort that is involved. |

Loved by Alfie & Evie Donating Member | I love webs.com I love Webs.com I used it to create the website for my daughters swim team, literally in less than 2 hours it was up and running with all my info and its wicked easy to edit. Its not a selling site, but you choose your template, format etc. Check it out if you like to get an idea of the cool things you could do, We use the free version (which is FREE!!..LOL) so our Domain name is at the end .webs.com but if you purchase your domain for as little as $100 a year you get your own so it could be just plain "whatever you want" .com. Webs - Free website, free hosting, free webpage - Make a web site with photo albums, blogs, videos, forums and more!

| I use an old version of Mozilla to create and update our website, and it makes it all really very easy - I'm no genius and I can use all the help I can get! Mozilla is no longer supported though, and they replaced it with SeaMonkey, which I trust to be good too, same company and all. Both programs are totally free, just do a google search (you'll probably have more luck with SeaMonkey). We also use 1and1 hosting for our webpage, which is really easy, gives you tons of space (more than we'll ever use despite our love of pictures) and it's totally reliable - and REALLY cheap (like under $5 a month, if I remember right). I feel like a tool, but if you go to this link to order (if you decide on it), I think we get some kind of commission or discount on our monthly fee or something like that, lol - I don't really understand. If the link doesn't work, just go to 1and1.com; they're a good deal IMO. Lauren & Nikko |
