| I know Microsoft has a program- Front Page, maybe. I played around with it once, and it seemed a lot like Word- quite simple. Do you want something free, or are you willing to spend money on a program? Adobe has Go Live, but I've heard it's complicated. Macromedia has DreamWeaver. I've tried it a couple of times and it doesn't seem too bad. I've used the program NVu (http://www.nvu.com/) I looks like it's free to download the program from the website. This is a pretty easy program to use. If you're proficient in PhotoShop, you can create a page in there and import it into Macromedia. You then slice the areas you want to be links. It's quite technical, and I've only done this once or twice, so I can't tell you much more. If you have photoshop, you can create your page and find a tutorial online on how to bring it into DreamWeaver. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | If you want a site - www.homestead.com and www.register.com are great - easy and cheap....also http://www.websitewizard.com/ for pages there are many free hosting sites you could try - I did my website on Register.com - I have tons of pics on it and it was very easy to do - I can send you a link if you want to see it - it's a business site...not the yorkies You can always do a website with your ISP provider... many of them give you web space for free. Then you can always do something with MSN...You can have your own MSN Group for pictures ...comments etc - that's free too I have MSN Front Page and it IS very easy |

| constructive criticism Hi Yorkie mama. I came across your post, and decided to check out your site. Before I say anything, I want to say good job. I don't know if I would be comfortable doing this myself. I know that you're just starting out, and I just wanted to point out some of the problems that I saw. Now, mind you, I'm not a professional copy editor, but do have to proof scripts in my job, and some of this may just be the look you're going for. On your Yorkie page, I did notice you had a few mispelled words. One that I remember was carrer. I think you meant career. Untill should be until. There were several words that should be capitalized. i, piglett. (some were, and some weren't. I was trying to figure out what the word unsur was. And some of the sentences didn't seem complete or the grammar was incorrect. There didn't seem to be punctuation in some of the sentences. On the mini-Aussie page -- again, some mispelled words and punctuation missing. Some of the sentences didn't seem to be complete, or didn't make sense to me. And, some things needed to be capitalized. It just seemed like the format for the page wasn't quite right. (the centered lines seemed to be a bit distracting) Again, I definitely don't want to insult you in any way... but I know that when I look at websites, alot of times when I see blatant mistakes, I'm more distracted by that then by what is on the site. I loved your pictures, by the way. I think you're on the right track -- and again, I realize this is a "work in progress" and am sure when you're finished, you'll have a wonderful site! |

| I use www.easystorecreator.com and I love it! I was extremely tech challenged before opening my website, but it was easy using them. They have live help too which has come in handy. They are a great price too and have the cart feature.
